this took me out
I hope that “between the crematorium and the dildo store” becomes a famous saying for whenever a person has lost in the most pathetic and undignified way possible. Sort of like how we still use the phrase “crossing the Rubicon” two thousand years after the event.
Some guy on twitter described it as “being between a cock and a charred place”

Y’all. I’m here. Missed you 😍
Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in TERMINATOR: DARK FATE
I am 33 years old and have NEVER seen a single Terminator movie. That is gonna fucking change.
I have never seen a woman at this age with this kind of vital power without heavy adherence to femininity. Helen Mirren in RED is amazing, but she played a beautiful woman who used traditional beauty standards. This? Is a woman who is sexy because she gives no fucks about her appearance and SHE’S ALLOWED TO BE OLDER, MASCULINE, AND FIERCE. She isn’t a heroine, she’s a HER who happens to be a woman.
I never understood women who were into older men, but I kinda get it now. I am in love.
oh shit this is fucking hot as hell
You know what we need? A movie where Linda Hamilton and Sigourney Weaver form a Grandma team up to kick the ass of some alien threat.
Grandma Action movies, and at the end of it all an all women expendables movie
Here’s the best thing: THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY HER INTENTION.
Hamilton trained in the desert with Green Berets, while doctors put her on a regimen of supplements and bioidentical hormones to build muscle. “I had a true village of experts trying to get the most out of this body,” she said, though vanity wasn’t the mission. “I don’t think there’s going to be one person who comes up to me who says, ‘You look so great for your age.’ I threw that into the Mississippi River, because that’s not what this is about. I want people to see me and go, ‘Oh my God, she got so old!’”
sorry, but we stan a LEGEND
(even us het ladies)
@phinarei please remedy that immediately and see the Terminator and T2. The others you can ignore.
When you live in the terminator world growing old is the most badass thing you can do

But being married, well, that’s the way it should be. Oh, is it? The way it should be? Or is it just institutional obligation? Rachel Weisz as Ronit Krushka in Disobedience (2017)
Just some women in suits. You're welcome
question time: what is the one scene from a film or tv show that you could genuinely write a 2000 word essay analysing/ just generally expressing your appreciation for?
After making that video, JJs wedding is definitely one of them. Also when Prentiss holds JJs hand. Those two are probably the two for CM that immediately come to mind.
honestly like i don’t hear it talked about enough that it was a brilliant move to make a lesbian one of the main characters of mindhunter and show her own struggle with being in the closet in that era and show her as a sympathetic character who is just like everyone else because as someone who studied serial killers when i took criminal justice classes i can tell you how easy it would be to have this show just constantly fall back on “this famous killer was attracted to the same gender and/or cross-dressed which is an obvious precursor to deviant behavior and logically leads to violence”. but the show puts wendy front and center in every case, pointing out that gender expression and sexuality is not an indicator of these behaviors and almost more importantly SHOWING that being closeted does not lead to that kind of behavior erupting (in the way that people say people who are homophobic must be closeted, which we all know is a stupid fucking statement)
