Harry Potter/Avengers AU
The Avengers are a team of Witches and Wizards fighting against the Dark Lord Thanos.
Tony is the mad Wizarding inventor who is a genius with a wand. Bruce is a part-time healer, full-time shape-shifting werewolf. Clint and Natasha are Unspeakables. Thor is a Quidditch beater. And Auror Steve has one hell of a shield charm.
(Oh, and Loki is a Death Eater, which no one is surprised about)

Honestly one of the best subtle details in all of TRC is who curses/how/when:
- Ronan just says “fuck” a lot, and every standard less strong swear, and/or gets a bit creative with compound words (”shitdamn,” “shitbird,” “mindfuckery,” “subfuckery,” etc). Sometimes says “Jesus” or “Jesus Mary,” but never “Jesus Christ.” (Declan is the only other person to say “Jesus Mary” in the series.) Declan also says “fuck” a fair amount, considering the relatively small amount of dialogue we get from him. Also says “Jesus shit Mary fuck” when startled by Gwenllian moving whilst still in her coffin. Which, like, fair enough.
- Gansey does not swear on-page; he merely uses “a word he learned from his sister, Helen” (adorable). He says “Jesus” or “Jesus Christ” a lot, sometimes just “Christ”. Helen and Gansey II also say “Jesus Christ”. He says “fuck” once, quoting Ronan, and Ronan immediately mocks him for it. He says damn or goddamn sometimes, probably also says shit a few times and maybe asshole.
- Adam says “damn”, mostly, and “shit” in various contexts. Only says “fuck” on two occasions: when Gansey says basically the worst thing ever to him right after his hospital visit in TRB he says “fuck you”, and when Ronan’s mom dies and Ronan’s still trapped there in the dream.
- Blue doesn’t curse much, mostly quoting for humor (”don’t be such a shitbag,” to Ronan after Adam said it; “you’re not such a shithead,” also to Ronan). Probably says damn a few times idk. 300 Fox Way ladies tend to say “damn” and “shit” and “ass” rather than anything stronger anyway.
- I don’t think Henry and Noah really swear? Henry does basically quote Ronan once (”fuck off,” says Ronan, when the roof tiles fall and nearly kill Adam and the bystanders do nothing, and Henry corrects, “don’t fuck off, notify a teacher”).
