A big comic commission I did for @luckstergal for Zakumi’s departure featuring Trudly and Folly.

I present to you one of the most emotional things that happened in a Tabletop game I’ve been in for 3 years now, and it didn’t even happen at the table!
Zakumi, played by my friend @hikariyuushi, ended up having a huge impact on Team Miror B. Miror started to soften up a little, and TRIED to think about his actions having consequences for the rest of his traveling party, and Trudly and Folly... well...
From what I can remember, Trudly and Folly did not leave the best first impression when they joined the group. They were very blunt, hostile, and didn’t trust anybody. Zakumi was nothing but sweet and kind to them from the very start, figuring they’d warm up eventually. And they did. Through gifting them some of her own Pokemon since their parties were quite lacking, taking care of their Pokemon and even the boys themselves with her nurse skills, and just generally being positive company to be around, Trudly and Folly learned something quite amazing in their time with her in their Johto-Kanto travels:
There actually are genuinely nice people in the world who will be kind because it’s what they do and who they are.
Zakumi’s leave from the party (Player decision) has left a huge impact on the boys.
Maybe... just maybe... they’ll strive to become better people because of her. FOR her.
Thank you very much Hikari not just for this lovely comic, but for having been a part of Pokemon Cross for as long as you did! I enjoyed your company and your character immensely and I look forward to seeing your personal projects grow!

Remnants of the old blog may remember the AU blog that I made for various silly alternative universe ideas of Team Miror B. Sadly, the blog went cold and quiet due to a number of factors, including burnout. But there are still fans to this day who love to idea bounce these AUs, and should I regain the energy and motivation to work on multiple projects at once again, I’d love to return to this blog.
A dear friend of mine had a birthday last month and I wanted to make a present for her. She’s been having it really rough, especially lately, and I desired nothing better than to make her smile again. She loves the Pirate Captain, and I periodically find her idea bouncing various things in my Message Box on FB every so often (including her ideas of Michael’s role in this universe as Miror’s captive).
Happy Birthday, Jess. Belated or otherwise!
And not to worry folks. We’ll be back to regular(?) Miror B. content before you know it!

I’ve been just a bit busy over on the Text-RPers-Friendly RP blog, working on sprites for a Tabletop Game I am a part of, and as the end of the month snuck up on me, I needed to fulfill my obligations to my Patrons with a monthly Thank You image for their support.
I normally leave new pictures private for the month except for my supporters, but once in a while I make an exception. Since this one stars Miror B., I felt like making it public so I can crosspost here. (And maybe shamelessly plug)

Hello everyone!
I cannot apologize enough for my periodic popping in, saying I’m returning, and then nothing happens.
Life hits you hard and fast sometimes, and for a time I even fell out of drawing long enough to where just doodling for an hour exhausted me. But this time it’s for real.
We’re coming back!
~What happened?~
July: I intended to begin working on updates as soon as my trip visiting my folks concluded. But I ended up cracking open a wisdom tooth and being in ungodly pain for almost an entire month before I could get the extraction done.
August: The recovery followed and I had to do various things IRL and had trouble managing my time.
September: I was beat. I was having trouble keeping up on commissions without getting tired. I’ve even marked a commission as a freebie order because it had been taking so long and I felt so bad for my client.
October: I decided to do the Inktober Challenge to get my wrist and mind back in order. I succeeded. And you know what? I feel great!
November: Once I finish my Patreon image and actually finish the commission (the one I mentioned in September) I will begin working on actual updates on this blog and even stream some for those who may be interested. I have every intention to return here. I miss the blog, I miss the characters. And of course, I miss you!
Demember: Oops November ended up being a really good month in gaming!
Keep an eye out folks. Miror and his crew are coming back soon!

I remember following them years ago on my old account, but it looks like they since restarted their blog for a brief period and then disappeared? It's a bit sad because I really enjoyed their humor and characterization and I'm wondering if I missed an announcement post or whatnot? Sorry if this ask is a bit out of line, I'm just not sure where to go as the colosseum fanbase isn't that large.)
Ahhhh... That’s a blog name I haven’t seen in a long time...
The Mun of that blog kinda just moved on.
It’s unfortunate, because I did enjoy much of their humor and their sketchy style for the blog was appealing, in my opinion; but they’re focused on different things and working towards their future as a professional rather than more of a hobbyist like myself and many others.
I don’t have any communication with them anymore, so that’s as much as I can offer. Sorry to say!
