Hello! I recently found an injured bird. I’m having some issues trying to help it. It has a broken beak and recently started opening their mouth and like shaking... what can I do to help????? My # (956)-223-7029

A wildlife rehab or exotics vet are going to be your safest bets on getting assistance in person. Broken beaks aren't necessarily going to be fatal, but they are a serious situation to manage. Species/type of bird and where specifically the beak is broken helps to determine the next steps. It's possible the bird has further injuries internally that are causing the other signs you're seeing. I realize your number is going to show in my answer response, but I'm not sure how to answer here for you to see without it being present.

Wish my back pain was from sprouting wings like in edgy fanfics and not from having shitty gremlin posture

Thoughts on Akutagawa's fate following ch. 88

Throwing my hat in the ring on this subject following new developments, because as a prior vampire fanatic and Akutagawa Stan I've been trying to come up with some possibilities. I base a lot on themes throughout BSD as well as what we know of the real life authors here, touching a little on vampire tradition. I also feel a bit more confident in these thoughts under the premise that this is the final arc of the series.

Spoilers for the latest chapters/anime only:

Moroha + braincells

I know don’t what shocks me most. That Moroha has:

1. More braincells than Inuyasha and Kagome combined

2. More braincells than Sesshomaru, Miroku and Sango’s children

3. That she has the most braincells in this entire show (runner-up is Mama Higurashi, Kaede has negative braincells for withholding information

Having an animal to take care of can be one of the most grounding things.

I have anxiety, and I'm a total wuss, so caring for huge dangerous animals seems like a terrible choice, but it's actually incredibly therapeutic.

When a horse spooks, I have 0 fear. My mind goes completely blank and the only thought I have is of taking care of the animal, keeping both of us safe.

It's insane. I'm usually terrible in high-stakes situations. My fight-or-flight reaction is almost always flight. Like I said, I am a WUSS. I'm incredibly cowardly. I'm scared of so many things.

Since I've started working with horses, though, that's changed. In fact, this weird reaction to danger has carried on in other situations I'd normally be afraid of. I typically refer to it as "letting go". If an animal is injured and needs the vet, I'm unfazed. I call the vet and take care of the animal.

Sometimes our emotion holds us back from making the right decision. If an animal needs something and they don't want it, I can let go and do it anyways, even it it scares or hurts the animal.

It's hard, because emotions are there for a reason. They aren't the opposite of logic. I need to take the animal's fear and pain into consideration. Sometimes when a horse is rearing I need to run away. But, it's important that I am able to do this. My mom has said many times that she wouldn't be able to have her farm without me; I talk to the vet. I give shots. I clip hooves. I force pills down throats if needed. Sometimes taking care of an animal requires you to do things that make you upset.

It's really matured me, and it's taught me so much.

pepper tries to woo peach…..bonus episode

highlights include peach’s “….anyway” and pepper looking to me for moral support.

bringing this back because i think this video helped a lot of people to realise that spiders aren’t all that scary. after posting this I got so many messages saying they love pepper and that he showed them that spiders are actually pretty cute, so hopefully this will help any new people who happen to come to this blog now. ♡

The probability of you getting attacked by a gorilla at any given point is very low… but it’s never zero.
