I really miss playing Mary...
So I am thinking about starting to play her again, on a mulit muse blog with her and Mary Tudor and perhaps a few other characters...
❝Days at court have been hectic and DEMANDING. It feels like it’s been ages.❞
"Almost as if it happened in another lifetime."
Elizabeth had her own opinions of the situation, but she knew it was smart to keep the majority of them to herself. When every move of hers was scrutinized, she had to be careful. It would look awful on her part if she had refused the audience of her cousin, Mary Queen of Scots. “Mary, it is my pleasure to have you here at the English court. I hope your travels were not too harsh and that your chambers are to your liking.”
"My journey was as pleasant as it could be, I thank you.", the raven haired queen declared, holding her head up high. She still recalled her brother's warnings, the advice of her council men, all pleading for her to remain in Scotland. If she was fully honest, a part of her craved nothing more than to follow their request, but now that she was on english soil, in the lion's tend, she could not show the slightes glimps of weakness.
The White Princess Quotes
"Can you even recall it? The last time that we could just sit and talk and enjoy ourselves? I hardly can."
"Emily Knox.", the raven haired queen said to greet the other woman. "It is a pleasure to see you at court, am I right in the assumption that your husband is paying the court a visit as well?"

❛ What odd turns our lives have taken. ❜
“I do not care how different my life is from the one I used to imagine, not as long as you are by my side.”
My muse's memories were erased. (How is up to the mun) What does yours do now that mine doesn't know any better? What lies would you feed them?

Elizabeth had been told of the royal visitor arriving to her court a mere five days ago. Now here she was, sitting in her throne room, ready to greet the fellow Queen. Now, this wasn’t something that the Tudor queen had been looking forward to doing. The two women were positioned as rivals by the rest of the world and even themselves, despite being cousins by shared royal blood. Once the doors opened though, she sat up straighter in her throne as she waited for the Scottish Queen to enter.
Mary still doubted that this was a good idea, she and Elizabeth were pitted against each other, ever since the moment Elizabeth was declared Queen of England, but things had changed, almost the entire world of the Queen of Scots had changed and there was now something more important in her life than the english throne. With gracefully slow steps Mary rentered the throne room, her dark eyes focused on her cousin. "Elizabeth, my dear kin, it is a pleasuer and a delight to finally meet you in person."
“Candle wax? Now that is a dire conversation topic.” A slight laugh escaped the blond royal as he reached to take a drink from a nearby table. “My mother invites so many people, there must be someone with a more interesting story to tell.”
"Yes, I believe it was a duke that explained to me that he prefers candles with long wicks because he believes that the fire is purer.", Mary informed her husband. "I believe I will never again look at candles the same way, especially not to the ones with long wicks.", the queen said, slightly amused. “If that is the case, we have to find this person quickly.”
❛ Your life is more valuable than this. ❜
“How can I demand that the men of this country sacrifice their life for mine, if called upon but be unwilling to risk my own on behalf of Scotland?”
“This is the Queen’s life. She has no other option but ask the men of her country to sacrifice their lives for the Queen’s. It’s like in the chess game. “ James responded to his sister, clearing his throat before he explained to her how things were like.
"If I was a man, would you give me the same advice? Would you advise a king against riding into battle with his fellow men? Would you have stood in front of father, the way you are standing in front of me, when he left the castle to defend our country from english invaders?", Mary questioned. "I am your queen, James, I do not need you to lecture me."
