Okay. I know Gillian Anderson as Media was great, she was phenomenal. But I SWEAR if the Tumblr Hivemind™ overlooks Orlando Jones’ BRILLIANT monologue, I will be very, very annoyed. That opening scene was inspired. Transcendent. I loved it. I watched it again at one in the morning because it was so electric and organic that it breathed Life into me. My GODS I love Anansi.

On Monday, March 20th, 2016 my dad – Donald Jacobs – suffered a stroke. It affected his left arm and left leg, but his prognosis is good. His doctor’s say he’s on a path to a full recovery. However, my father let his health insurance lapse, and is uninsured. He was admitted to RMC Hospital in Anniston, AL, which was gracious enough to waive his hospital fees, set up a scholarship visit to Healthsouth Rehabilitation Center in Gadsden, as well as provide multiple home health care rehab visits through Alacare. Those visits have come and gone, and while he has progressed quite a lot since March 20th, he still has a long way to go. He is unable to sit up on his own, nor stand on his own. As a result, he’s been unable to get into a car, and has had to be transported from hospital to rehab facility to home via ambulance. Which is very expensive. My mother has taken over the finances, but both are on a limited fixed income, so the money for the ambulance payments are tough. Please help my mother pay for my father’s ambulance charges and subsequent health costs.
Edit: Dad was put back in the hospital Wednesday night and we’re unsure how long he will be in there. That’s another 2 ambulance rides (there and back) and potential hospital costs.
