Just because you’re chronically ill doesn’t mean you can’t be fabulous. It just makes you chronically fabulous <3 I don’t use my IV pole for my TPN often because it’s a disaster being in a chair so I mainly use backpacks but I loveee decorating my medical supplies! So with $1 washi tape, duct tape, and $3 lights from target my IV pole and pump can be chronically fab too! Even added a small piece of washi tape on my tegaderm because why not haha

i support chronically ill people decking out their medical gear so hard I love this

Hi! I was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness and while it doesn't constantly directly affect my daily life, I've still really been struggling with it. First I'd like to say I love and appreciate your blog- I had no idea that there were blogs that supported people with chronic illnesses. Also, can you recommend some more support blogs for physical chronic illness? Thank you!

There’s always a strange hopefulness when you have a chronic illness and you start a new medication.

Can I buy a copy of this from you?

So you may remember me saying I did a photoshoot, walking stick and all. I got the first few images today and I’m actually blown away by how lovely they’ve turned out. My self esteem was suffering for needing to use a mobility aid but these photos have proved to me you can sure as hell be beautiful with a walking stick.

I don’t know how to deal with warm weather anymore.  Which is ridiculous, because if you’d told me last summer that I would be calling seventy-five degrees “warm” I would laugh at you. Fun fact: there’s a chance I’ve broken a toe on my left foot, so naturally I decided to wear high heeled boots to go run errands.

[One image of a young woman (me) with medium purple hair that’s just brushing my shoulders.  I have hot pink tape along the upper two-thirds or so of my left arm.  I am also leaning on metallic, pink cane that I am holding in my left hand.  I have on a crop top that is made of tapestry-like material; it’s got a bunch of brown, pink, and cream flowers on a black background.  It also has an attached hood, which I’m wearing up.  I’m wearing black high waisted shorts over pale pink tights which have a tie dye pattern that my camera didn’t really pick up.  I also have on dark brown boots that button on the sides.  As always, I’m wearing my black rectangular glasses.]
