  Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Hot August Night, rock and pop icon Neil Diamond returns to the legendary Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 11 and Thursday, August 16.  A special ticket presale for American Express® cardmembers will begin this Wednesday, February 29 at 10:00 AM and the public ticket on-sale will start Monday, March 5 at 10:00 AM.  Tickets will be available at The Greek Theatre box office, online at Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.

Watch: Band of Horses Perform at Wedding - “Marry Song”
Per a description below this video (via So Much Silence), Njal and Elin, a couple from Norway who got engaged at a Band of Horses concert in Oslo earlier this year, sent their story along to Ben Bridwell and Co. ahead of their wedding date, which happened to coincide with the band’s slot at Dognvillfestivalen in Tromsø, Norway.
With all the coincidences surrounding the wedding, the band said, “What the hell” and decided to surprise the couple. The band showed up minutes after landing in Tromso to play “Marry Song” at their ceremony.
Now I’m not sure which is more adorbs: Bridwell hugging Eddie Vedder or giving the thumbs up to a couple just before their vows. [Permalink]

New parking option at The Greek!

We’re really happy to announce “Easy Access Parking” at select shows in July. This is a great new non-stack parking option at The Greek. Take advantage of this new convenient parking at the Steve Miller Band / Los Lobos show this Sun July 11. Space is limited, so please arrive early and enjoy the Greek’s plaza before the show! The Easy Access lot opens 2 hours before show time.
