Why the fuck are straight girls doing drag

I’m dead serious cishet women should NOT be drag queens that’s literally a gay man/trans subculture why are these women always trying to insert themselves into our spaces this is the same reason why a lot of gay people find it unsafe to go to gay bars and why pride has become a fucking music festival. We do not exist for you to clout chase. We are not here for your enjoyment.

I’m literally constantly pissed off at straight women taking gay terms and culture. Stop using top/bottom. Stop going to gay bars. Stop inserting yourselves into gay men’s culture. You are not welcome in our spaces. You have caused us so much trouble and I’m sick of it. I’m sick of you using our SEX TERMS TO INDENTIFY US over meaningless shit like playing Minecraft or anything BEYOND who gets fucking penetrated or not. I’m sick of seeing so many stories of straight women making gay men uncomfortable and terrorizing lesbians at gay bars and flat out calling trans people fake. I’m sick of straight women turning our culture into a spectacle for your fucking entertainment. When gay people started being out and open and many of us became extremely accepting of people, you took advantage of us! You saw us being nice and decided that was your queue to take over! Leave us alone now. You’ve done your damage.

To all the angry straight women in the notes;

Yes, no shit you can just like, legally go to these things and no one can stop you. But for the love of god can you at least understand that you are entering a space that is NOT MEANT FOR YOU. You are a VISITOR in these spaces and you should act as such. You can have fun with us, enjoy the shows, etc but if it doesn’t live up to your expectations of LGBTQ+ culture that’s YOUR PROBLEM NOT OURS. Gay bars / Drag Shows / Pride are NOT spaces for you to not be hit on by straight guys. It is A SPACE FOR LGBT PEOPLE TO FEEL SAFE IN BEING WHO THEY ARE REGARDLESS OF WHO WE ARE. If you’re in a gay bar and a woman hits on you, you as a straight woman have no fucking right to be shocked or offended. Unless the woman is being you know, like legit creepy about it, you aren’t allowed to be offended. The assumption is that the people in a gay bar are you know, gay, regardless of gender... it’s kinda the whole point of a gay bar. You being a straight woman in a gay bar isn’t the actual problem, the problem is you have an idea of what gay culture is and then act offended when our reality doesn’t live up to your fantasy. Even if you aren’t mad constantly labeling us as top/bottom butch/femme whatever just starts to feel... creepy... like it just makes us assume you are thinking about us having sex constantly and it comes off the same way as a man catcalling you. 

TL;DR: LGBT spaces are for LGBT people, if you’re gonna visit as a straight person you better damn well respect that you are a VISITOR and not the target audience.
