It hurt. Everything hurt. Your throat was raw from screaming, your eyes throbbed from being squeezed shut, blood ran down your fingers after you dug your fingernails into your palms. But the demons were relentless, cackling as they turned up the voltage yet another notch. There were seconds were you thought you’d blacked out, moments where you couldn’t remember your name or who was standing in front of you with eyes full of heartbreak.

“Please,” you heard Dean say, and this was what scared you the most, more than any amount of pain they gave you. Dean didn’t plead with demons. Dean didn’t stay on his knees and show weakness. His voice was never that fragile, never shook that much. “She has nothing to do with this. Just let her go.”

“Oh, she has everything to do with this,” the demon standing nearest to you said. She teasingly danced her fingers across the dial of the machine sending electric shocks through your body. “You see, she’s been running around with you and Sam and that angel of yours these past few years. We don’t like you Winchesters very much, in case you hadn’t noticed. And she’s become one.”

If looks could kill, Dean’s would’ve slaughtered them all.
