Mid to late 19th century: Large widespread belief that Native American culture was inferior to American culture which led widespread conflict including the destruction of Native American buffalo herds to disrupt their way of life, most importantly as it was their biggest source of food as a means of making “peace” on the border; dividing Native American reservation land into separate allotments in order to “show” them how private property was better then collective farming although they knew the land they were giving them was practically useless as far as farming and harvesting went (likewise they did this mostly because they knew separating reservations into separate land would leave a shit load of land left over to sell to investors); practically kidnapping Native American children and forcing them into boarding schools, cutting their hair, changing their attire and forcing them to learn English and adopt western culture to the point that children could not partake in their Native communities after they returned i.e. they effectively were wiping away generations of Native Americans, wiping away their cultural identity; and not to mention the numerous conflicts and massacres that ended in the deaths of thousands of women, children and men. And this is not even scraping the first layer.
In summary, U.S. was committing genocide of the Native American tribes, although they were masking it as helping the Native Americans assimilate into western culture.
Some may disagree but this bitch is done with America and its bullshit.

Except that it was. And when it happened, A LOT of us complained about it, too. I loved Allison and Scallison. But I did not like that it was his anchor. I am tired of friendships being thrown under the bus for romantic ones. Romantic is NOT the end all be all of relationships.
Listen here, I have been waiting for stydia since episode 1 of season 1. I have been here for it. Waiting. I still think what happened is total bullshit and it honestly makes me not even happy to have stydia. Because I have a hard time enjoying it when they bring it about through such a BS means. They could have easily given us Stydia while not shitting over sciles’ friendship.
So, yeah, I’m mad. And I am a stydia shipper. So get off your goddamn high horse and stop giving stydia fandom the bad name that it has.
