If your "realism" is only being used to tell people that maybe nothing will work out for them and never to tell them that maybe everything WILL work out, that's not realism, that's pessimism. You're not being cool and rational, you're being a moody nuisance. Hope it helps!

Going into a fandom tag I hadn’t checked out before hoping for some nice fan art and some memes but instead just finding the coldest takes and opinions ever.

I’ve been on tumblr long enough to have been able to see this coming, and yet
