New Home Experiments:

Feels like it’s been a billion years since I’ve logged on Tumblr.

Brain matter has been unhappy, per usual, but I’ve been trying to figure out different options and the biggest conclusion I’ve come to is I just hate social media as a whole.

My experiments so far include a completely new side tumblr and [unfortunately] twitter. Should try Pillowfort again, it was just very dead back when I was on the first time.

So for now, new homes are:

It’s currently mostly Apex Legends and A Way Out [which I need to get back to, I miss it]. I will NOT be reposting my old art in either place just FYI, so don’t even ask.

N’aawwww, thank you! I don’t really think I’m going to see rapid changes in my art anymore, but the subtle shifts are nice. That’s very cool that everything is still recognizable as ‘me’ tho, I didn’t even think about that! January is Vargas, my idiot Nuke chaser character in Fallout 76. Obviously leaned VERY heavily on Leo/Fares for his appearance. [big dude’s Frank]

August is Makoa Gibraltar From Apex Legends. It’s from one of the pieces I did for a community made coloring book project [which is ► HERE ◄ if you’re interested]. He’s not 100% on model as I wanted to use his voice actor [Branscombe Richmond] as face reference.

2021 was actually a crazy year for art and it sadly mostly all happened on Twitter. Lot of community projects happened as well as being commissioned by Respawn to do an official comic for Apex Legends. Also been a rough year mental health wise, but what else is new.

Goodbye [frak off] 2021, hello [be kind] 2022! And THANK YOU to those of you who have stuck around even tho the account kinda died this last year. You guys are the BEST!

Right, so...

I think my two biggest frustrations here are one: the fact the my account seems permanently locked and broken now. It only exists in mobile view, the browser version is 100% gone and inaccessible, and nothing shows up in the tag system, making my ability to reach ANY sort of audience impossible. Thanks Tumblr.

And two: the elephant in the room...Supernatural. I’ll refrain from screaming my frustrations out here, but I’ve moved anything and everything SPN related to here: @gorspn-archive and deleted it from this account so I can spare my goddamned sanity going forward. I have a lot of new followers who have followed for that...I was part of the fandom from 2014 to 2018, I’m no longer part of the fandom nor want to be.

I’m not really sure if I can salvage this poor account. I want to as I‘ve made a lot of friends here, but I’m also very weary of moving and then only being asked about SPN. I want to be able to draw and share new experiences instead of constantly being dragged down by old ones. I’ve been an online fandom artist for almost 20 years, you should NEVER expect anyone to stay dedicated to one fandom forever.

Sorry if this is all a bit of a drag but it’s been bugging me for a long time. Thanks for reading, thanks for sticking around, and thanks for just everything really ♥

HI, yes, I'm still alive.

Duuuuuude, this account I think is broken beyond repair at this point. Links constantly breaking, nothing posts in the tags, staff refusing to give me my normal blog back as I’ve been stuck in naughty mode for 6 months straight, and me silently begging for a "mute post" button so I don't just straight up delete about 500 posts in frustration.

Might be time to pack up and move on from this cursed URL as it's been an absolute shit show over here and I haven't really wanted to be online because of it [also haven't been drawing much, but enh].

BUT!!!! Thank you for checking in and thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it!

DBD Cosmetic contest 2021

Nothing too crazy this time, I just want to run around in a kilt in-game and those utility kilts look very punk and badass. Patch is an ode to his rescue dog, figured real world rescue league logo’s were a no-go.

Nope, didn’t post it. It’s part of a bunch of face studies from photos I did for myself. Don’t usually post those as I [mistakenly it seems] assume it would be boring for most folks.

Fares has one of my favorite face types and these are always good practice.

By any chance after playing AWO did you dig into Fares Fares' (Leo) filmography? I was so impressed with his voice acting (and character model) that I had to see the real life Leo in action. I can't help but ask this question and maybe hope that you will do the same. He's really very good! Ah...well...I really am that predictable aren’t I?

Given that I prefer using real people when drawing characters, I’ll totally admit to being overjoyed by the fact that I didn’t have to hunt down a real life counter part to Leo. Of the two, he’s definitely the more unique looking.

Department Q is definitely the highlight of the group [still can’t find the 4th one tho]. Tyrant was ...heavy, but he’s just an utter sweetheart in that. I was also absolutely staggered that he’s in one of my recent favorite movies [admittedly for like 5 minutes], SW: Rogue One! And that the production decided to name his character with a repeating name as a nod to his.

So yeah, I tried, though finding most of them has proven a challenge.
