living in nyc is like you can see every type of rare exotic and expensive dog breed walking down the sidewalk on any given day but i saw a cat in real life for the first time in 6 months yesterday and went bananas

1. Queens (needs no explanation)

2. Brooklyn (Brooke and Lynn are both women’s names. Passes the Bechdel test)

3. Staten Island (no man is an island)

4. The Bronx (has an x, gender neutral)

5. Manhattan (literally has man in the name)
