She consulted the note, then looked inside the box. Lucina didn’t have a major sweet tooth... But...
“I should get him something as well... But what would such a mysterious figure like?”
The worst thing was, she couldn’t trust her sense of color and fashion... Especially since it was obvious Joker was stylish as hell. She’d only make an embarrassment of herself.
But then an idea was obtained and she went into the stores. After a bit of choosing, she found her gift and left it outside his room door.
I hope this is to your liking. I thank you for the treats, the pink ones were as delicious as you said... As well as the other flavors too.
What was inside the box? Engraved dagger cuff links that she thought he might enjoy.
“I don’t want to get up… I’m so warm beside you.” (Morgan cuddles? Yeah, Morgan cuddles)
“Mmm... I do agree. It is pleasant with you.”
Arms came to snake around the other, holding him tighter against her, she breathing out a content sigh.
“Good morning though.... I am glad you shared the bed with me last night. It would have been... Very, very cold otherwise.”

(Poor Luci... Whenever she wants to pick out something for someone else in their favorite color, she has to ask one of her friends to come along with. I bet this is why if she’s out with someone, and the like something, she tends to buy it for them on the spot so she doesn’t have to struggle as much. Especially since she tries to keep her colorblindness a secret.)

He stared for a moment, emotion unchanging as he looked at her. She was... Alive? In this world she... She was actually living. Yet he doubted she would know him... Nothing in this timeline had suggested she ever had a twin brother.
“Forgive me, but..”
With that, he moved forward, hugging her tightly against him. Tears threatened to come and for once he allowed them to flow freely. He trembled a bit as he held her, fingers clutching at her cape.
“I swear on Naga’s name, I won’t let you die in this world. Not again. Not every again.... I swear.”
