The real gag is the revelation of how popular fascist policy and rhetoric are in America

If Sanders doesn’t get the nomination, and you can’t see yourself voting for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump, then don’t. Vote third party.

Consider the Libertarian or Green Party.

Don’t feed the establishment by voting for Clinton, and don’t feed authoritarian isolationism by voting for Trump.

2016 is a shit year.

It’s not news that Hillary is awful, you can stop sending me news articles about how awful she is. I grew up in Arkansas, I probably know more about how awful she is than any of you.

Unfortunately, the GOP picked the one candidate more despicable and who is also insanely corrupt and unethical, than she is and the one candidate that can’t defeat a Clinton candidacy. 

And despite the email scandal and Benghazi (which, let’s face it, was not solely Clinton’s fault. I don’t care what the movie says, the Secretary of State wasn’t the one calling in stand down orders to the military, this went higher than her) we know what to expect from Clinton as a politician. We know her record as a Senator, we know what it takes to negotiate with her, we know that she’s not anywhere near as radical as she’d like the Democrat base to assume, and we know how to make it through a Clinton presidency. 

With Trump, we know no such thing. We know he’s corrupt, that he changes his views and policies at the drop of a hat, that’s he’s ignorant and hates freedom in everything from the press, to free speech, to free markets. He wants to stomp on the 1st Amendment, the 5th, the 10th and probably more depending on the day. He idolizes dictators because they are so “strong” and thinks he’ll be best buddies with Putin. He’s the only option in this election that’s actually less conservative than Clinton, purely because he has no convictions whatsoever except what gives himself more power.

For the last time, Clinton is shit. But Trump is also shit and in deference to doing the best I can do to ensure the future of this country, I have to decide which piece of shit is going to be ultimately less damaging. You can disagree with me, but don’t expect me to agree with you. I’ve already done my soul searching on this, I’ve already done the research. You aren’t saying anything I haven’t already considered. 

So chill and stop wasting your time and mine.
