Well to answer the second part of your question, Luke has already told us that TJ is gay as you can see in that twitter link another anon sent in which collects a bunch of gay TJ posts Luke liked after 3x13. And both he and Josh have been liking gay TJ posts and comments for a long time, especially after the edited look back. Are we ever going to hear the word gay again on the show regardless of who says it? Unlikely, but if I was playing devil’s advocate I’d note that it is odd to finally use the word gay halfway through the final season when a gay character comes out to his friend but then not use the word gay when two gay characters confess their feelings for each other in the series finale. And since the show has embarked on an ill conceived subtextual homophobia story line for TJ it would make sense to end his arc with him proudly using the word gay especially since unlike Cyrus he’s not coming out to one person at a time with months in between coming out; once he’s out to Cyrus he’ll be out to at least Andi, Buffy, and Jonah shortly thereafter. 

However, I don’t see that kind of reasoning swaying Gary Marsh and if he did approve TJ using the word gay it would probably be because he had already vetoed something else Terri wanted to do with Tyrus since it does seem that Disney is more comfortable with focusing on Cyrus’ sexuality in the abstract rather than actually focusing on his feelings for any one boy. There’s also a very slim chance that either Luke or Josh could have referred to TJ as gay on Mack Chat but that’s unlikely. I wouldn’t bet on the word gay being used again but it can’t be dismissed. If not, we’ll have to rely on the articles Disney will release talking about their first gay couple ahead of the finale and Luke and Josh’s posts and comments during the finale airing and afterwards.

Barnes and Nobles is gonna start serving food and alcohol.

Everybody’s cracking jokes about how it’s a desperate attempt to stay relevant in the age of Amazon.

But you know what? Props to them. This is exactly what Blockbuster didn’t do. At no point was Blockbuster like “Hey, movie rentals aren’t the lucrative enterprise they once were. Perhaps it’s time we become known for our cheesy garlic bread.”

You can’t even begin to comprehend the massive amounts of money this place makes, despite the fact that they turned the theatre boxes into reading nooks like this:

I’ve literally spent days holed up in there reading books for free while also consuming massive amounts of coffee and pastries.

Adapt or die, people.
