They are already selling data to midjourney, and it's very likely your work is already being used to train their models because you have to OPT OUT of this, not opt in. Very scummy of them to roll this out unannounced.
here's some instructions for anyone who doesn't know how to opt out:
- login in on desktop, it's not available on mobile yet
- click "Account"
- click on your blog
- go to "Blog Settings"
- go to "Visibility"
- Scroll down to the bottom option
- turn the toggle ON, not off
you will have to do this individually for each sideblog you have too, no way to do it for each account in one go

it goes without saying, but if @staff goes through with this its going to be an utter shitshow and im all but certain the website will not survive it.
everyone go enable this immediately. it can be a bit hard to find because “visibility” is under blog settings instead of general settings or privacy. you have to do this individually for each separate side-blog
if you can’t find it on the app then the update probably hasn’t rolled out to you, and you’ll have to go through the web browser. what a truly wild way/time to implement this

Ohhh good question! I haven't thought about that fic in ages, but I remember at one point I was thinking of writing a coda where Violet went back to London with a research team and found her father's violin hidden somewhere at Baker Street. I never wrote it, and probably never will, but I liked some kind of "the beginning at the end" scene like that.

Yes, I do! :)
- They love going out for dinner together, or just ordering takeaway for all three of them, especially as a way to celebrate after a case has been solved.
- John and Mary don’t live in 221b, but they spend so much time with Sherlock that it’s almost as if they’re living together.
- Sherlock likes cuddling, handholding, bed sharing and some other forms of affection, and John and Mary give him as much of that as possible. But he also needs alone time, and John and Mary also need time for each other without Sherlock.
- It’s not all fluffy, because John and Mary both have a difficult past and Sherlock is Sherlock, so they don’t talk enough about their feelings, which leads to misunderstandings and arguments sometimes.
- Sometimes they just sit together in 221b, with Rosie, and listen to Sherlock playing the violin for hours. First he plays lullabies until Rosie falls asleep, and then John and Mary pick their favorite pieces from his repertoire, or listen to whatever he feels like playing, until late at night.

Confession: I love Molly Hooper
And reading books by sir Arthur Conan Doyle I actually really miss her character.
She was amazing. And she deserves the world. She was a loyal friend. A genius. The nicest person on earth. She was always ready to help. Sherlock valued her greatly (after John helped him remove his head from his ass). She was a bit lonely and she was looking for love but aren’t we all? That’s what made her a great character. A real character. She had her style, she had her life and she was freaking amazing and yes I will elaborate further this is not the last post you’ll see about her on that blog
More reasons I love Molly Hooper for:
- Her dorky sweaters - she rocks them
- The fact that Moriarty never really targets her - she saw his face, she’s close enough with Sherlock to know who Jim from the IT actually is, and she is not threatened by him at any moment. Two possible explanations? Jim finds her unthreatening - unlikely, he shot an old woman when she described his voice, Molly actually saw him. My theory - she’s such a lovely person even Moriarty can’t bring himself to hurt her. She’s precious and insecure. I think Jim rarely met people like her and doesn’t want to hurt her
- The fact that she can understand Sherlock and actually observe and analyze him flawlessly
- She can and does correct Sherlock’s behavior
- She cares deeply about him (the whole leaving the wedding early - she’s the one who notices)
- She has a demanding job and she does great
- Sherlock trusts her from the beginning (even though he’s an ass towards her)
- She always wants to do her best (he asked Sherlock if she should behave like John while helping him)
- She has detective skills but prefers to work in a morgue and I respect that
