psa | there will be times ...

— there will be times where you simply CANNOT log on; there will be times where you just don’t have the muse; there will be times where you’ve LOST your muse; there will be times where real life takes you away from here, but DO NOT FEEL GUILTY. I will NEVER hold these times against you; we all live under different circumstances, and these things happen. They shouldn’t be treated as if it is ABNORMAL to have such things happen, either. No more shunning writers for taking breaks; no more unkindness for people who’ve lost their muse. I will never hold it against you if you can’t be online, for any reason at all. take all the time you need.

death isn’t a problem. you ask yourself over and over, why couldn’t i save them. i could have done more. you ask yourself why. why? why did they have to go. it should have been you. you rather take their place then see them go. you’re screaming at the top of your lungs and you feel like no one can hear you. you just want them to come home but they’re already gone.

Pros of shipping with me: I will give our verse a dumb, probably sappy name, I will make random starters and send memes constantly, we will have about 3,572,957 threads, I will talk to you out of character all of the time about our babies, I might write you drabbles and/or make us graphics for/about our characters
Cons of shipping with me: Everything listed above, plus 96% of our stuff is angsty.

little psa on ships and ship development:

When two muns get together and decide to ship their characters there is usually a lot of communication behind it. Most of the time their characters have interacted, spark from the muses is felt on both sides, it’s discussed, and then developed. Sometimes all the development takes place on their blogs, sometimes it takes place through private conversation or skype, but most of the time it’s a mixture of both.  Even if you see a ship that suddenly appears on the dash with no previous signs of it being so, do not assume development was rushed. In many cases development may be happening in private, and that’s fine! Maybe they tried it privately and, when it worked, wanted it to be a part of their blogs! Maybe they didn’t and it really was just a spur of the moment decision! So what? Who cares? If it’s making them happy, and it’s not hurting anyone, it is literally NONE of your business! The point here is that, just because you don’t see every written line of development for your own eyes, don’t assume it didn’t happen. And even if it didn’t happen, it is no one’s concern but the blogs writing the ship to begin with. Move along.
