Well.

Hey guys, Haylen here. The girls and I have talked it over and, as much as it hurts, we are going to discontinue posting weekly challenges. The participation levels have dropped severely since the challenge started and it doesn't seem to make sense to keep it going while no one is participating. This challenge was a dream come true for me and we have all made so many friends because of it. We encourage you all to keep those friendships alive. Thank you to everyone for participating in the NY2SRC. It has been such a blessing to have you all and get to know everyone. Just because this challenge is ending, it doesn't mean that this group is ending. We are far from ending this! We learned a lot from this challenge (I mean it was only our first) and we plan on coming back in the fall with a much better, brand new challenge for everyone to participate in. We would really appreciate some feedback from you guys! Please let us know what you did and did not like about the challenge and what we can do to improve our future challenges. Again, I truly want to thank everyone for joining. I hope it helped you guys in some way. Motivation Week!

Hello everyone, it’s Z once again with another challenge for you!

Getting this far in to the challenge, some of us might be starting to lose hope… Either we aren’t seeing results or we aren’t seeing the results we want or its just getting plain hard.

All of these feelings are normal, loves! I promise! But I’m here to help you get back on your feet this week.

So my challenge to you this week is to find some motivation and share it.

Do you have a piece of clothing you want to fit in to? Do you have quotes that keep you going and keep you inspired? I want to hear about them!

And if you’re feeling extra motivated, how about a DIY project?!

A motivation wall! How fun is that? So fun! I have one of my own that I will share with you, and it’s my whole wall but yours doesn’t have to be of course. Maybe even just keep a notebook of inspiration and motivation, or create a poster board. I’ll share mine to give you some of your own ideas. Good luck babes!

Hello my little doves! Kort here with this weeks challenge. So first I’d like to say congrats! You’ve made it to February!! Everyones had their ups and downs but you stuck through it and kept going. Now for this weeks challenge…..*drum roll please* The challenge this week is to treat yourself! I know you’ve all been working so hard toward your goals and I’m here to tell you it’s a okay to let yourself have a special treat. Does it need to be a whole cake? Nope! But if you want it to be, it sure as heck can! This week is all about loving yourself and treating your body special! Now if you want to treat yourself with something besides food and buy yourself something else that works too! Personally, I’m going to enjoy some fondue at the grandparents house tonight for the super bowl (even though I’m a 49ers fan). So thats it! Dont forget to post your treat to yourself so we can all see and make sure to tag thefabfourfitblrs and/or your group leader.

You do not have to participate in the challenge if you don't want to nor do you have to post anything. However, we highly encourage that you do! It's a really important challenge for everyone's health!

WOOHOO! A month from today is that glorious holiday we have that love/hate relationship with. Well this year, we are challenging you to channel all that hatred you may have for this day into full on L-O-V-E! I’m sure several of you are rolling your eyes at me and, don’t worry I get it, but just give me a second to explain.

For this whole month, January 14th to February 14th, you are going to spread the love! You do NOT have to have a significant other for this challenge. Let me repeat that for clarity…YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER. Okay. I think I made myself pretty clear.

You are going to show us how you spread love to any of your loved ones of course, but more importantly, we want to see how you are SHOWING LOVE TO YOURSELF. That’s right. We want you to show yourself all the love in the world this month, and if you show love to others along the way, we want to see that, too! But like I said, the most important thing for us to see is how you’re showing love to yourself. We are challenging you to love yourself more than ever!

You know I wouldn’t leave you hanging without some ideas to get you thinking (;

For yourself: *Write down a list of the things you love about yourself *Treat yourself to a spa day (at home or otherwise) *Buy yourself something you really want *Treat yourself to something sweet and yummy that you love *Buy yourself flowers *Give yourself a hug *Not beating yourself up over something you normally would *Sing/dance to your favorite song over and over because you can *Doing your hair/makeup for no other reason than because you want to *Have a rest and relaxation day where you just lay around and binge watch your favorite show on Netflix with a pint of Ben & Jerry’s *Do whatever self love means to you!

For/with others: *Family/friend game night, loser buys everyone a treat! *Plan a different kind of date night with your S/O instead of your usual *Buy cute, little valentines for everyone, just like when you were younger! *Helping one of your loved ones on your own will *Making time for that one person who always wants to hang out, but you say you’re too busy for *Bake! (for yourself or someone else) *Buy a little gift for someone who gives so much to you *Show your appreciation for someone else *Whatever showing your love to others means to you!

That’s it, guys! Don’t stress over this too much! It’s all love here! You can use the same tags you’ve been using! Have fun with this! It could really magical if you really put some effort into it

In case you don't know what this challenge is all about, let me sum it up for you.

  • Becoming the happiest and healthiest YOU yet. We want 2015 to best your absolute best year of all time. Whether your goals are weight loss related, making those gainz related, recovery related, any kind of mental health related, any kind of fitness related, etc, there's a place for you here!
  • You're placed in a group based on your goals. That's right, your group members have similar goals as YOU. How we place you? Based on our, the group leaders, goals. So we are all fighting for this together.
  • Unlimited group support. If you have a kik, you have all access to support pretty much around the clock. Whether you need motivation, advice, ideas, or just some friends to vent to, you got it! The group members are seriously so welcoming and friendly and soooo helpful. I can't even begin to explain everything I've learned from my group in the past two weeks, and I'm sure the other leaders would say the same! If you don't have a kik, that's okay, too! Message your group leader anytime and we will respond ASAP!
  • This challenge is personal for everyone! We aren't challenging you to do anything difficult or uncomfortable. Keep in mind, this is a challenge! So we are challenging you to do something. But it has nothing to do with numbers. Not in weight, measurements, exercise, none of it! You don't have to lose x amount of lbs or do x amount of squats. That's not the point. The point is...
  • This is a difficult journey, so we are providing fun weekly challenges for you to complete! All of these journeys are pretty much ridiculously difficult, so our challenges are geared to help you have a little fun on them and try new things!

That's it! It's not scary or difficult. I can honestly say that this challenge is LIFE CHANGING. If you're active and you participate and really make an effort, YOUR LIFE CAN CHANGE. Whether it's because you're trying new things or you've made a bunch of friends, a huge aspect of your world will be different, in the best possible way! We don't pressure you to do anything you don't want to. If you can't participate in a challenge one week, we understand! Just talk to your group leader so they know you're still participating. 

Seriously you guys, it is THAT simple. This isn't a challenge for you to be miserable, it's a challenge to help your overall health and happiness.

Now, you're probably wondering, "How can I join this AMAZING, WONDERFUL CHALLENGE?!" All you have to do is send us a message with your health/fitness/wellness goals for this year and that's it. I'll send you a message letting you know you're in and you just need to wait to hear from your group leader. Your ask box must be open in order for your group leader to message you. Please go open your ask before you send us a message. Don't worry, I'll wait.

CLEAN EATING: FRUITS AND VEGGIES!

Hey all! Z here presenting you with this week’s challenge! This week is all about clean(er) eating and making sure we get our fruits and veggies in.

Our dream body starts in the kitchen, as I’m sure some of you know. If you work out all the time but aren’t eating a healthy diet, you won’t get very far.

Now I’m not saying you can’t treat yourself every so often. It’s actually healthy to do that! But you need to have a nice balance.

So this week I’m challenging you to eat a fruit/vegetable with every meal, and making sure you get all your meals in!

As someone recovering from an eating disorder, I’ve learned a lot about nutrition. Skipping meals actually harms our bodies and makes it harder to lose weight because you’re going to cling to whatever you give your body.

So try to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner all week and add a fruit or veggie to each meal.

Throughout the week I’ll be posting some recipes and easy ways to make sure you get your greens in. Have a great week!

So we have 200 members, 50 for each of us. Wow. I am in total shock that we actually hit this many. Thank you so much to all of you participating. It's like a dream come true for me. I had no idea we would get this many people interested. Thank you all for taking the time to send in your goals and taking this seriously. It means a lot to all 4 of us. We hope you're all having fun so far! I know we are! If you didn't make it into the challenge at this point, don't fear! Early next week, I will be having the girls message me with the people who did not contact them within these first couple weeks. Which means, THERE WILL BE SPOTS OPEN NEXT WEEK.
