listen i don’t care if you agree with what shiv did in the finale or not but the most relatable sibling moment in the entire ending was her seeing her older brother put his feet up on their dead fathers desk already gloating and smirking in self satisfaction or hearing him mutter “yeah that’s fuckin right” after roman’s hesitant vote and immediately being like “yeah actually I would rather be skinned alive than watch this play out in real time”

I just think the old guard turning into a Greek chorus/witches of Macbeth is one of the best features of this season. They are so good and funny.

succession is ultimately about siblings. of course kendall won't choose his daughter, whom he barely knows, over getting back at the sister he has loved and envied since before she could walk. and when everything is done, shiv is staring at roman because she can't believe the one closest to her did what he did. and it's why roman will die without his siblings because he has no other sense of direction, he doesn't know how to survive outside the pack. you think you're a real person, but you're not. i am the real you're the real me.

pov you're roman roy, and you have a body that has reactions you can't control, and those reactions are pathetic and freakish and prove just how much you've gotten it wrong. you can't laugh, you can't talk, you can't even cry at your father's funeral without everyone seeing what a failure made flesh you are.
