🖤 Leahlandia has the illusion of being a happy and cheery place, but everything is so mixed up that even the residents can't tell up from left and right from down 🖤

did you know that Friday 13th was meant to be a really good lucky day meant for fucking because it was dedicated to Freyja, the goddess of love and fertility and the patron goddess of Fridays

but then Christianity found out about it and were like “Fucking???? outside of marriage????? NO NO NO!!!” and decided it was a horrible terrible bad unlucky day and you need to be super careful of everything you do in case you die or some shit.

so thanks Christians for ruining everyone’s fucking fun

Petition to bring back Friday the FUCKteenth.

If 2/2/22 falls on a Tuesday it could also be known as “2’s Day”

Happy Birthday to my boy!🎉🎉🎉

johansen????????????

Squidward probably has an AARP card.

When Squidward moved to Squidville was it supposed to be a retirement community, not just a gated one?

To be fair Squidward would have been 33 when the show aired in 1999. So that seems pretty in line– since I always felt Mr. Krabs was like in his 40′s with a young teenage daughter.

Going nowhere fast

I have so many ideas and plans… but I also have faltering motivation and lack discipline.

I used to pride myself on being a writer and loving to read - but I haven’t done either in a while.

Reading I usually did while traveling, but due to the current pandemic, I haven’t done much of that. Being at home I have too many things that distract me, making it impossible to focus long enough to get into a story.

As far as writing goes, I just don’t know how to anymore. I used to write things that popped in my head; made up poems of the random thoughts rattling in my brain. Now when I try to write, either nothing comes of it or a thought goes by too fast for me to be able to catch it and write it down. I’ve tried to revisit old poems but still haven’t found the right ending. I haven’t had a cohesive thought that can be written down and turned into something.

Nothing but random ideas and half forgotten sentences. Bridges that lead to nothing and parts that don’t connect.

I don’t burn bridges.

I just walk so far away from them that I don’t know how to get back to even attempt to cross back over.

Get Stuff Done! ADHD Edition

You know all those post-it notes that populate your world? I figured out a great way to get all of those things DONE. - I know someone else may have thought of it already, but oh well :)

Step 1: Write all the things you need to do on your sticky note

Step 2: On the back, write a number (these are points)

Step 3: Every time you do a task, take down the note and collect your points

Step 4: Once you collect enough points (10, 20, 50) cash them in for a treat! Make it fun! ADHD brains love fun!

If I want my afternoon cappuccino, I must collect 15 points.

Remember, keep it simple. Don’t just write “clean the house”. Try smaller pieces like “empty the dishwasher” and “take out trash”.

**This can be for anyone, not just ADHD folks. That’s simply who I had in mind writing this post. Enjoy!

Might need to do this >.<
