here we go again…for the fourth year in a row!

now that the season 13 finale has aired and we have all recovered (ok, probably not actually), we are looking at a months-long drought of new supernatural material. and so, once again, spn hiatus creations is here to help us all get through the hiatus until the start of season 14 this fall.

each week until the season 14 premiere, we will feature a different prompt focusing on characters, relationships, episodes, and other themes from the previous thirteen seasons. you can participate in the themed prompt for that week in many different ways: maybe you’ll want to make gifs or edits or graphics or fanart or write fics or put together a playlist or make some kind of a craft…really anything goes! you can also participate for as many or as few weeks as you’d like. it’s all up to you!

canon has blessed us with incontrovertible evidence that castiel and dean both look unreasonably excellent with dirt all over their faces

which i now argue is pointing to their first kiss happening in the aftermath of a hunt, both of them shaky with adrenaline and leftover fear, sweaty and grimy and staring wide-eyed at each other until their hands are fisted in each other’s jackets and they’re making out up against the wall of the abandoned warehouse with a vampire corpse at their feet

dean and cas getting into the morning routine of dean fixing cas’ tie and then pulling him in for a kiss to send him off for the day

the first time cas does his tie right on his own, dean is so offended and grumpy (while pretending he doesn’t care) that cas does it wrong on purpose every day from then on :’)

i’m sure i’ll have more thoughts on the season finale later, but for now all i can really focus on is that dean is cured, my sweet son is finally FINALLY in full possession of his own mind and soul after fighting this thing for over a year, everything may be shit but he finally has full access to the sweetness, kindness, goodness, tenderness that are the core aspects of his real self

something you need to understand about me is that i would physically shield dean winchester from harm with my actual body if i could just get inside the television screen
