Hey, my name's Annabeth Chase. Architect of Olympus, daughter of Athena, counsellor of cabin six, and (most importantly) girlfriend of the one and only Percy Jackson. Don't get on my bad side. [[Indie RP blog for Annabeth Chase from PJO/HOO. Tracking the...

“I–I want to go home..” I wailed. The room turned cold as I cried. “I want my brother… He’s the only one who’s made me feel brother..” I sobbed. My words were incoherent and sloppy from the tears. I didn’t even know where my brother was.

Percy started shivering at his spot by the door, and Annabeth rolled her eyes at him before approaching Bailey.

“Then we can go and find him,” she stated.

“I don’t even know where he is…” I sobbed.

“We can find him,” Annabeth told her. “Tell us what he looks like. We can use satyrs and nymphs to see if we can find him.”

“How about some shock therapy? Maybe I can kickstart something.”

“Jas, I don’t think there’s anything we can do now. His heart has stopped for too long already – bringing him back could cause more damage!”

“But we have to try right…He was our responsibility…”

"He was... but we did what we could to protect him." Annabeth grit her teeth. The more they debated this, the less likely it was he could live. "Try and bring him back. I'll scout for more monsters."

“I was…” Annabeth thought for a moment about that, before it suddenly clicked into place. Oh! “You’re one of the demigods from the school that we rescued!” She remembered that now. “The older one, right?”

“That was me yes. Thank you for that. Dr. Thorn always gave me the creeps.”

“Well, he wasn’t exactly normal. So, how has your time at camp been so far?”

Her nose crinkled as he wiped his hands on his shirt — from what she saw, that could have been a perfectly clean shirt that he’d now ruined with his undeniably grubby fingers — and then narrowed her eyes at him when he beamed. That mustard was still on his face, and she was 100% sure that it would splatter onto his shirt sooner or later.

"Learn to respect, and maybe you’ll get somewhere," she snipped. "For example, you could find some friends to sit with whilst you eat, rather than having to be supervised when having lunch." It wasn’t difficult to tell that this guy had few friends — if any. After all, who would want to be friends with him if he ate like that?

Percy wrinkled his nose in disgust. Yeah. Like somehow it was his fault that he didn’t have friends. He’d been kicked out of enough schools to know that the American system of education simply did not fit him.

Of course, “Miss Perfect”, as she so liked to portray herself, would never understand that.

Any semblance of a smile was wiped off his face immediately. “I don’t have to be supervised by some prissy straight-A student who thinks she’s better than the guy with no friends. Ever thought that maybe if you got your head out of your ass, you’d see something besides shit?

Annabeth wasn't sure whether to be insulted that he'd plain told her she had her head stuck far up her own ass, or amused that she'd seemingly broken through his barriers and cracked him. After all, that irritating smile was no longer there.

"Oh, please; my head is nowhere near my ass. All I see is a friendless guy acting all big when he really is friendless and lonely." She crossed one leg over the other, leaning back on the chair a little to sit in her more comfortable power-holding position. "And yet, you still try to make yourself seem better than me? Ridiculous."

“Yeah, I… I’m Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena.” She tiled her head to the side a little. “I haven’t seen you around a whole lot. Are you new?”

“Not exactly. I was here before. But you were gone. The last time I saw you, you jumped on the back of a manticore and were captured by the general.”

"I was..." Annabeth thought for a moment about that, before it suddenly clicked into place. Oh! "You're one of the demigods from the school that we rescued!" She remembered that now. "The older one, right?"
