There are almost no photos of me smiling/not pulling a ridiculously stupid face online, here's one of me from earlier this month at the Yes Equality gig fundraiser having a great time. I can't remember the last time I voted or what it was even for but tomorrow I know I'll be voting Yes for marriage equality and I hope you all will too. I'll be in Leeds for the rest of the weekend so I hope to come back to a better and more equal ireland. ps don't we make a cute couple pps although it might look like it, David's not actually squeezing my ass

Definitely paying for staying up and drinking shitty wine until half five with @cpnotion & @nivnivrin but the sunrise was totally worth it 🍸🍸🍸

Ireland is set to become the first country in the world to legalise same sex marriage by public vote.

On May 22nd Irish people go to the polls and are set to become the first nation in the world to legalise gay marriage by popular public vote. The Yes side is topping the polls at 70+% but a lot of help is needed and in a historically conservative country like Ireland the No side can’t be underestimated.

Nationally, an official campaign has been set up called Yes Equality that is advocating a Yes vote, and is actively trying to educate and interact with the public to promote a win for the Yes side in this referendum! This is done by visiting cities and towns, college visits, advertising campaigns, viral marketing etc. They even have a bus to tour the country! All major political parties are advocating a Yes vote, celebrities and public figures are all pushing Yes for equality and we’ve even broken world records!

This campaign is far from won however. It is all entirely crowd funded, and I’m asking if you can spare anything at all to please donate to this official Yes campaign to ensure that we can reach as many people as possible before May 22nd and legalise same sex marriage in Ireland. Only SEVENTEEN countries in the world have legalised same-sex marriage. Help Ireland join that list.

If you can’t donate please reblog. Raise awareness. Get the word out. This should be international news. This is huge.
