Drago took a slow breath, locking eyes with the boy through his mask, and with a brief smirk, he muttered under his breath, “So the beast is a pet…?”

He eyed the dragon again, then wedged his bullhook right down between them, pressing his foot down on the Nightfury’s cheek...

The combination of a flaming sword thrusting towards him and the Nightfury's blast exploding at his feet made Drago stumble backwards, letting Toothless go and knocking the blunt end of his hook against Hiccup's chin in his panic. He managed to stay upright, however, and he glared at the two of them before he stepped forward again, moving to kick Toothless down and to slam the bullhook point down on Hiccup's neck, merely to trap him against the floor, and not kill him.

Though she hadn’t tried to enthrall the man, the fact that Drago was beginning to come under her influence gave Kara a thrill. It was a testament to how much her power had grown since she was a youngling, and the woman she had become grasped that power like a lifeline.

She was still and pliant under his gaze, smirking as Christa led her away. If it was this easy to sway her boss, then the men tonight would offer very little challenge to her. Kara stayed close to her coworker, taking in as little energy through their contact as she could. It wouldn’t do to arouse suspicions this early.

Drago prepared for that night like he always did. He supervised preparation of drinks for an hour, continued around the lounge to make sure it was clean, save for the few stray bills around the floor, made sure his employees were being well-treated, and he even stepped in on one interaction when the customer was obviously stepping past boundaries.

After kicking him out, the second act begun, and Drago found himself a nice seat in the back, his eyes resting on the stage as the next round of dancers--Kara included--stepped out on stage.

Almost every eye in the club was drawn to his newest employee, Drago's included. She was a true vixen, with perfect curves and a beautiful sheen to her hair that reflected the colors of the lights gorgeously. Drago was sure that a woman of this caliber could do whatever she so choosed, so long as she looked like she did...

Humming softly to himself, Drago ran his fingers over his lips as he watched her. He knew from her audition that she was good, but still she seemed to be... intoxicating.

{❖} - Toothless’ eyes were barely able to open at the sound of the approaching footsteps, breaths coming out only in deep whines. It seemed to take a moment for him to register the large figure now standing above him, the only reaction to tighten his grip on the form in his arms. Eventually a weary gaze focused in on Drago, green eyes throwing fear and protective anger at the man. With all his strength the dragon’s wings rose and teeth bared, a threat beginning to form as he began to wake.

The saddle on the Night Furies back was torn and busted, the wires leading from it ripped to shreds from the projectiles that had taken them from the sky. Even the red tail fin was long gone, missing somewhere in the snow possibly miles away.

The boy was motionless for the most part, though a few deep breaths and slight stirring signaled he was conscious if only barely. Even through the mask an eye managed to meet the stranger, fatigue and pain swallowing down the fear that rose in him at the sight of the imposing man.

Drago took a slow breath, locking eyes with the boy through his mask, and with a brief smirk, he muttered under his breath, "So the beast is a pet...?"

He eyed the dragon again, then wedged his bullhook right down between them, pressing his foot down on the Nightfury's cheek and forcing his head to the ground. He twisted the bullhook around, swivelling the sharp end digging into Toothless' stomach, and when he freed the boy from his claws, he flipped the hook around and shoved him even further away with the blunt end, pinning him down by pressing it against his chest.

"Such a strange thing to find in the arms of a dragon," Drago began, his foot still on Toothless' cheek, but his eyes on the boy, "I hardly think he had mistaken you for a sheep..."

Seth sighed at Drago. He had met people like this before, who saw animals or dragons only as weapons. There was no point to fighting with them. “You will find no animal here who listens to your word. Do not fault them for it. They are mine to guide.” He finally said after a few seconds.

"Resting is best. Laying still without sleeping works as well. Being Mobile isn’t entirely needed at this point. I can acquire for you almost any food you want and there really isn’t anything else you could want for here." He said slowly sitting back down. "I saved you because you were there and I’d rather not just let you expire. I’ll take back from you eventually. Nothing to horrible. Perhaps finding something for me."

Drago sighed, closing his eyes. Of course they wouldn't listen to him if they had a master. Drago knew, if one already was owned, they would not fall under the influence of another so easily.

Not until their master was eradicated, of course...

But Drago saw no point in doing that to Sethanial. He didn't see many of the creatures on this island, but he could only imagine them to be typical fauna or lesser dragons. Plus, if he got rid of Sethanial, that would mean he wouldn't have anyone to nurse him back to health.

Drago huffed in annoyance. He hated how he needed to rely on yet another person in his life. How weak it made him feel. He hated being injured to the point of immobility.

"I will repay you when I can," Drago promised weakly, closing his eyes and keeping them closed, "I will find what you need when I can walk."

He walked slowly through the snow, his cloak dragging along the white surface smoothly, though his feet sunk in far due to his weight. His metal arm was obscured by the cloak, his other arm wrapped in cloth to keep him warm, and soon, the tracks he followed began to grow, turning from sparse paw prints to wide drag marks, only to lead to the beast they had shot down.

He approached the creature, his eyes burning with victory, but before he pressed his foot against its snout and claimed it as his own, he saw in the Night Fury's arms a young boy...

The woman looked her over once almost dismissively, but was forced to double take to really take it in. She smiled wide, surprised at how well it looked on her, and she nodded excitedly.

"Its perfect, sweetie," she giggled reaching out to smooth the pleats of the skirt, then...

Drago had seen many beautiful women come and go in his club, but he had to admit... There was just something about Kara that made him feel... Younger. He would never put a hand on his employees, however. At least, not during work hours. He was not one to be charged with sexual harassment, and he knew that much could happen here if he did something out of line, no matter how thin it may be.

He looked over Kara with a hum, circling around her, plucking at her clothes, and when he got back to her front, he shrugged.

"Its suitable. You'll start during the second act. We usually don't have a lot of people then, so it will be good to help you get acquainted to this job." he cleared his throat, then looked at the woman who had brought Kara here.

"Christa, take her down. Ill be in the crowd once I finish this, so make sure she gets on stage in time."

Christa nodded obediently, taking Kara's hand and tugging her away from Drago's office, thanking him for his time. Drago sighed as they left, an invisible kind of weight lifting from his shoulders. It was strange, he realized. He never felt so... Desperate.

The woman smiled, taking Kara’s clothes from her and folding them neatly before she set them on a nearby vanity.

"Mr. Bludvist is always looking for something to criticize you on," She explained with a shrug, getting a tape measure and beginning to take Kara’s measurements,...

The woman looked her over once almost dismissively, but was forced to double take to really take it in. She smiled wide, surprised at how well it looked on her, and she nodded excitedly.

"Its perfect, sweetie," she giggled reaching out to smooth the pleats of the skirt, then she pulled her into a chair and started on her make up and hair. Nearly twenty minutes went by before she was done, and she pulled away with a satisfied huff. It was a bit gaudy, but it often worked well in the flashing lights and excitement of it all.

"Come on, we have to get the go-ahead from bossman before he sends you on your first round." she said, taking Kara's hand and pulling her to her feet and up a flight of spiral stairs. They reached a lone door on the second floor, with the name 'Drago Bludvist' etched on a golden nameplate on the front. She knocked twice, then opened the door, seeing Drago sitting behind his desk with a pen in hand and a paper in the other.

He looked up at them, then frowned and put his items down before standing.

"Come closer," he ordered, as if they were in the Marines and not a strip club, "Stand straight."

The Beast was dead… Drago was surprised to feel a little mroe heavy after actually hearing the news. Still, he refused to let it affect him any more than that, and he slowly looked over Sethanial, slightly put off by him.

"The creature deserve to die, anyways," Drago said...

Drago gritted his teeth at the brief lecture Seth gave him, and he rolled his eyes before grinding out "The beast would not fight when I asked it to. It was disobedient and worthless. It refused to follow my word. That's what makes it disloyal."

But he didn't have the energy to continue the banter, and he let it fall away as he sank further into the bed.

"I doubt you'll have to worry about that," he muttered, tired, but not ready to sleep, "I fear I might not be as... Mobile as I wish..." his eyes were heavy and they were slipping closed, but he refused to fall unconscious, especially in the presence of a stranger. He forced himself to look at those glassy eyes looming over him, then he asked, "And why did you save me.... Sethanial?" the name was strange on his tongue, and he was sure he mispronounced it.

I still don’t understand why they couldn’t have made the short at least httyd1 quality.

Their budget was probably cut a lot because this is a DVD extra and not sold separately like GOTNF.

DWA would obviously invest more money in something they’re marketing separately. Since this is just something extra for the fans it makes total sense that the quality is lower.

Plus this is probably some kind of last minute idea (or not last minute, but very, very late). It would take too long to render if they kept it at movie quality, with or without the budget. They probably want to get it out as soon as the movie comes out, or a little later, instead of a half a year or so later, you know?

Seth Watched Drago as he woke slowly from the sleep he had been in. He heard the cracks and creaks of hurt bone as it tried to move when it shouldn’t. He could hear the forced breathing, sounding of both pain and strength as he forced each breath.

He waited patiently for the other to notice him, which would in Drago’s defense be somewhat hard. Seth sat in a corner of the low light level room, wearing very dark green and brown clothes that seemed to be more human made than animal made, he had traded for it some time ago for some herbs he had grown.

When he was finally noticed and spoke at, Seth sat forward a bit, looking toward Drago’s voice. “I am Sethanial Windswept. I have brought you here yes. You were very hurt and in need of help. I am sorry for the shock of movement. You are quite some ways from the shore that you landed on if you remember any of it. The creature who saved you sadly is dead. I could do nothing for them. They were to hurt for any of my remedies.”

The Beast was dead... Drago was surprised to feel a little mroe heavy after actually hearing the news. Still, he refused to let it affect him any more than that, and he slowly looked over Sethanial, slightly put off by him.

"The creature deserve to die, anyways," Drago said dismissively, closing his eyes, "It was not a loyal beast... and I had no use for him." Drago took a slow breath, then began to push himself onto his feet, but halfway up, he collapsed again, too weak and injured to hold himself up. He fell to his hands and knees with a grunt, his entire body buzzing with pain, and he dug his fingers into the ground and gritted his teeth.

"I... I appreciate the help," He huffed, trying to push himself up again, but realized that, at this rate, he would merely injure himself further. With a resigned sigh, Drago allowed himself to sit back down, though he could barely stand that much for a few minutes longer, and ended up laying down in the end.

"I hope you don't mind if... I stay a little longer..." He muttered tightly, his ribs burning and his head pulsing.

"Of course I do. My make-up’s always on point, boss." She scoffed, brushing aside a lock of hair that fell across her forehead. It annoyed her, how he so blatantly insulted her choice in outfit. Then again, it wasn’t as if she’d be wearing it for much longer. Not if things went as planned.

Kara stood and followed one of the woman to the back, heels clicking as she walked. She didn’t pay much attention to the other women, her focus on much more important things than them. By her standards, they were insignificant, only useful in distracting other men while she did as she pleased. The woman began to strip, speaking to those who were attending to her. “Is he always like that? I thought this outfit would do it for him.”

The woman smiled, taking Kara's clothes from her and folding them neatly before she set them on a nearby vanity.

"Mr. Bludvist is always looking for something to criticize you on," She explained with a shrug, getting a tape measure and beginning to take Kara's measurements, "He doesn't like complimenting us, so if he doesn't say anything to you at all, then that will be the best you'll get."

She wrote down the measurements quickly, then said, "I think there are some spare clothes in the racks that will fit you nicely." She took Kara's hand, leading the nude woman towards the back, where multiple racks waited, filled to the brim with clothes. The woman began to rustle through them, pulling out a short, pleated black skirt, some stockings, and a bra that glimmered in the dim lamplight. Tossing these clothes to Kara, she continued to rustle through until she also found a semi-transparent black long-sleeved shirt, and she handed that to the woman as well.

"Try these on and we'll see how they look. We'll start on your hair and make up after and we'll see if Mr. Bludvist likes it."

There it was. The answer she’d expected. Kara made an effort not to look too satisfied with herself, shifting her weight to one leg as she made a show of thinking. “Well, I might be able to. Though I’m not sure if that would be too soon.”

The woman dropped down to sit on the edge of the stage, one leg hooking over the other as she leaned forward, bright blue eyes gleaming in the dim light. “You sure your regulars can handle what I can deliver, boss?”

Drago nodded briefly, waving a hand dismissively and saying, "Take her to the back and measure her up. You'll have to wear that for tonight, no matter how... distasteful it is, but when we get your size we'll get an outfit for you. Do you know how to do your make up?"

While he waited for her answer, he looked to the girl to his right and said, "Send the others away and clear off her vanity in the back," then he turned to the other woman and said, "Take this one to the back and figure out her size."

Word had spread through the forests of the Dragon armies defeat by the Hooligan’s. It was something of a large thing throughout the part of the forest Seth had been inhabiting for the past for weeks. Wars never really bothered the Druid so long as they kept from Razing the forests, and it seemed that this one was far enough from any part of the forest that nothing had been destroyed, so all in all the Druid had put the whole thing away from his mind.

It was nearly a week after the word had spread to the forest that what looked to be the largest dragon ever had washed up on the shoreline, not to far from where Sethanial’s Temporary home was. Along with it came a man, a man with a metal arm and more injuries than Seth thought possible to survive.

It had taken less than an hour to move the man from the shoreline back into the deep stretch of forest that Seth called his home, Mostly with the help of a few wolves that Seth had gotten to help him. His home could only be described as a large ball of roots, dug into the ground. It had dirt floors and it’s only walls and roof were the roots themselves that wove into rooms.

Sethanial laid the man on a bed of leaves, making sure to have a few animals tend to him generally as he acquired a few herbs to make sure the wounds he had seen wouldn’t be to much of a problem, and over the course of a few hours he washed and covered each wound with a paste that would stop any infection and hopefully promote healing. He hoped the man wouldn’t be to worried about modesty as he had removed most of his clothes to get to the injuries, using a few little lizards to make sure he had gotten to all of them before using the pelt of a large wolf he had long ago been friends with as a blanket for the Man and sitting down across from him to wait for his inevitable wake.

It took until morning for Drago to wake, and he did so slowly. His eyelids just barely fluttered open before they grew heavy again, but he forced himself to leave unconsciousness behind. He sucked in a deep breath, then began to cough, his throat positively sore, along the rest of his body.

He was alive. That was the first thought that went through his mind. Carefully, he forced hismelf into a sitting position, his abdomen burning from the strain and a sensation of something cracking along his skin--the cream, but he didn't know it--and he looked around the strange place he was in. It wasn't the beach, that was for sure, and the Bewilderbeast that had carried him here was no where to be found... perhaps it died in the end. What a shame. Drago was surprised to feel a small sense of pity.

But then Drago saw the other inside the room, surprised he hadn't noticed him before, and he narrowed his eyes at him before calling out in a much deeper, rougher voice than usual:

"Who are you? Have you brought me here?"
