parents:  Oh, you’re going to be a big movie star, right?  *goes to look up acting and filmmaking summer camps*  Hey, have you ever been to Universal Studios?  Most people would just go for the rides and the theme park, but people like you would want to actually see how everything is done.  

when i say i want to be an actress:  

parents:  wait, as a hobby?  (no, as a career)  oh, don’t do that.  there’s no money in it at all.  (if i got really big, there’s a lot of money in it)  yeah, but it’s next to impossible to get really big in hollywood.  

normally theyre pretty good and they seem fair, and at least try to hide that i’m a failure to them because they care about me.  they try to not let me see that both of my sisters are amazing at everything they try and i’m… not.  but this… i don’t know.))
