as of 22nd April 2021 we have about 16.3M new cases and a death toll of 187K . Only about 1.4% of the population has been fully vaccinated yet.

on top of that, we've been facing a major shortage in oxygen supply (to the point where the govt has decided to airlift oxygen from other nations), a shortage in hospital beds and services. The numbers keep rising and with the spread of the new strain, the scenario has transformed into something deadlier than ever.

our infrastructures are falling apart and we need all the help possible at this very moment so the nation can be atleast saved when there's still a chance. I've already lost two of my friends, a teacher and family to the second wave and I can only imagine how much worse it can get. so i would like to take this opportunity to link in some donation posts below–

Friendly reminder and hard to swallow pill: you don’t know your faves. As much as you’d like to think you do, you don’t. While things may seem genuine (and sometimes they are) there are still many things you don’t know. You don’t know all the interactions that happens, you don’t know the stories behind every post, you don’t know anything that happens before and after each broadcast. Your eyes see what they see and they can easily be fooled. Please don’t disregard the feelings of idols who come out and express their hurt or anger or disappointment or mental and physical and emotional health. Please be critical when you feel something is off. Just know these celebrities are not your friends or family. You are a fan and a consumer. Nothing wrong with that. But don’t be deluded into thinking you know everything.

#even as someone who has been a kpop fan for almost 10 years#its quite easy to forget this fact#dont let yourself slip too far#theyre just another music artist#this isnt to say your idols dont care or are faking it or theyre being insincere#its just that we only know as much as theyre willing to share#im sure some of them would love to meet you all or get to know you#but the facts is#youre just a fan#and theyre an idol#thats the boundary#youre not their close friend or family or lover
