Beth never gave up on anyone. Why is everyone so eager to give up on her.

I saw a post by @no-jukebox where she says Gregory might be after a new doctor and they could very well go for Grady. It gave me some ideas.

This is part of the dialogue between Simon and Gregory, when Simon gives him a paper, which is probably a location.

Gregory:“I’ve got to hang on to my people’s trust. They might have crazy ideas… I know human nature, and it isn’t inconceivable.”

Gregory wants a new doctor so that his people will trust him, because he promised them that. He goes to Simon for help. The Saviors are branched out everywhere, of course Hilltop’s Carson wasn’t the only doctor they had available, but he was the closest. We learned that from the Saviors compound to Alexandria it takes 2 hours, and from Hilltop to the compound it’s probably close or closer. Why go far to get a new doctor when Negan could have him in a few hours?

So Simon, gives Gregory the location of Grady and …

Simon: “I’ll arrange it so you just tell the guard who you are, and he’ll let you right in.”

At the end of 7x15 Gregory calls for one of his man and tells him they’re going somewhere…And that he needs to pack a bag. If he was going anywhere near Negan he wouldn’t need an overnight bag, it’s a quick drive. He’s going somewhere else far away and he’s looking at a map of Virginia, probably searching for the quickest way to Atlanta. It’s a 7 and ½ hour drive from Virginia to Grady. Team Family walked for over 3 weeks.

Gregory finding Beth is absolutely fantastic.

Ok I really want to give up but this theory is very interesting....
