Thats because Father Christmas/Santa Claus totally DOES exist in the DC universe, and  every year, without fail, Santa fights through Apokolips’ defenses just to give a lump of coal to Darkseid.

It’s so nice to make your acquaintance!

My name is Sam, and I run the Fuck Yeah, Batman Villains blog. When I started this Tumblr almost 10 years ago, I had no idea it would turn into such a well-loved corner of the Internet. I feel so grateful that I’m able to connect, even in a small way, with so many people who share the same passions. Comics and graphic novels have the ability to tell stories in such unique and special ways, and I hope they’ll always be a part of our lives.

I’m writing this post to do something I always have a very hard time with: ask for help. I’ve really been struggling financially lately, and so I finally decided to swallow my pride and come forward with my plea. If you’ve enjoyed my posts over the years and are in the position to do so, I can hardly express how appreciative I would be if you’d consider donating through one of the services I’m including on my page. Literally anything helps – even a single dollar would mean the world. If you’re not able to send anything over yourself, I’d also be so thankful if you felt comfortable reblogging this request.

it’s going towards not arbitrarily deleting all your fucking blogs overnight because yahoo had a shareholders meeting, that’s what the fuck it’s going towards. if you don’t own it, they can yank the cord whenever they feel like it, for whatever reason, using whatever wobbly catch-all algorithm they want, and that is exactly what the fuck we’ve been telling you. “wellll i’m not a porn blog, it’s not going to affect me,” oh worm?? you sure?? this website is suddenly gonna be capable of censoring posted content with surgical precision? give ao3 ten bucks immediately and get real

“But a former staff engineer, who recently left Tumblr and asked to remain anonymous for professional reasons, tells Vox that the NSFW ban was “in the works for about six months as an official project,” adding that it was given additional resources and named “Project X” in September, shortly before it was announced to the rest of the company at an all-hands meeting. “[The NSFW ban] was going to happen anyway,” the former engineer told me. “Verizon pushed it out the door after the child pornography thing and made the deadline sooner,” but the real problem was always that Verizon couldn’t sell ads next to porn.“

So all of this was just so Verizon could attempt to make money off of us with ads better.  I’ve never been happier to have so many ad-blocking, tracking-blocking security extensions, but so irritated at having a Verizon phone.
