Completely in her element with the strawberries this morning. Strawberry stained lips and hands and feet. 🍓 Started the day with family berry picking and we all sort of wanted to stay there all day in the peaceful field soaking it all in. Please can I start every single day in a strawberry field?

Sounds like a perfect way to start every day. But I'm going to have to find my "green thumb" and plant my own patch. These days, I accidentally kill more plants than I sustain.

Gilda Susan Radner June 28, 1946 - May 20, 1989

Today marks what would have been Gilda’s 69th birthday. And though she is no longer alive, her memory lives on through her fans, as well as her family and friends, all of whom she could bring one of the greatest gifts a person can give: laughter. And as long as we can still laugh at this amazing woman, and as long as we can appreciate what an immense talent she was, she will never truly be gone. I just wish she were still here so we could all tell her how much we love her and what she has done to pave the way for generations of comediennes and legions of women who enjoy making others laugh. <3

Happy birthday, Gilda! I hope you’re smiling on your special day!

My favorite lady! I wish she was still around, making us all laugh. Since she's not, I'll watch a couple of her sketches today and just be happy she ever existed at all. Wherever you are, Gilda, I hope you're laughing!
