I love it when people come on here passive-aggressively claiming that they were banned for “no reason,” because it means I get to show the world the real (easily available) reason that they were banned.

Had a Great time on the-minecraft-blog server tonight! We had a Secret Santa event, took a pic or two with Santa and Krampus, plus an ugly sweater contest was held. Loved this event fully and the goodie bag we got at the end.
The 2014 TMB Yule Ball was a huge blast! There was all you can eat food and cake, dont forget the BOOZE! lol Also, Santa and Krumpus were there to photo with. The last picture shows my gf, ReDAngL enjoying the festivities as well! All the contest winners were announce and guess what?…..

I had a fun Flatlands idea on the-minecraft-blog core server. Instead of just signs, we could also use visual cues or signatures with the new banners. I use my banner as an example. This is located right behind the spawn portal in the flatlands.
Keep in mind this is purely for fun :D

The 2014 TMB Winter Event is now open!
Come one, come all, to an event full of magic, revenge, adventure, and the true meaning of Christmas! (True meaning of Christmas subject to availability) In this month-long event, players pick a side and complete quests, find treasure, and more!
On the Nice Side we have Santa, presiding over his North Pole town. On the Naughty Side we have Krampus, controlling the Dark Forest with his army of Imps. Simply complete the first quest for either of these two NPC’s to join their side. Note that you can only participate in quests for your respective side, however any player may enter each area.
To help players reach these new locations, some new areas have opened up in New Core City. To the east of the NCC Mall is the New Core Broadcasting Company and its sprawling plaza, bedecked for the holiday season. To the south of this building, players can find the Tree Lot, where a strange old tree has appeared. Inside is a portal to the Dark Forest. Beside the lot, a magical train has appeared. Board the Polar Express to arrive in the North Pole!
To go along with the event, we have released an updated version of Nate’s Holiday Resource Pack, which can be used on the server simply by allowing server resource packs. For all the great client-side features you’ve come to know from Nate’s Resource Pack, you can download this festive version from Curse here.
This event will be open until January 8th, giving players a full month to explore. There will be more features coming in the following weeks, including the Yule Ball, where players will be able to distribute their Secret Santa gifts, as well as a new Painball map!

Today one of our veteran players, Grrlpower, passed $100 donated in total to the server. To celebrate this accomplishment, we have decided that any player that passes $100 donated in total will have their Hall of Fame statue stand turned to pure gold.
As you probably know, donating at least $50 in total will get you a Hall of Fame statue, but we decided to add the gold pedestal feature to reward players that went above and beyond to show their support for the community.
