Whelp. I’ve been slaaaaackin on this blog. Maybe it’s a good thing? Maybe I just really stink at committing to things. I don’t know. For a while I was questioning what on earth the point of this blog is anyway. But today I’m feeling very overwhelmed and like I’ve been burning the metaphoric candle at both ends… With like a blow torch on each end. Aaah. Soooo. After going on a rant to one of my new coworkers about how blogs can be great in terms of finding community and finding accountability to accomplish goals, I inspired myself to come back to this. What’s the point?? The point is that I need to love myself more. The point is that I need to make time for myself every day. EVERY damn day. Even if it’s just tiny little moments where I take a goofy selfie. It’s about the intention. I am spending a moment— however brief— with myself, on myself. So that’s it. I’m going to use my other tumblr account to promote this one so that accountability piece kicks in a little bit more. Ha. If you’re down with the message or if you think it’s a fun idea, promote my blog! Also use the hashtag! We’re all selfie monsters. Xoxo
This Little Monster needs to get better about posting a selfie every day. Especially as I don't get to see her in person at all nearly as often as I would like.

Hello Hiroda Beautiful work! What company do you go through to make prints if you don't mind me asking?
Hello and thank you! I'm actually still figuring that out.
I'm ordering a few of the same prints from a few different places, and will hopefully find one that is great and reasonably priced. I used to print my own on a giant Epson, but I don't do it often enough to make it worthwhile.
I will be making a post when I figure out who works the best (for me) when I figure it out.

500+ Followers Celebration Print Giveaway
I have 500+ followers as of this week, so I want to give away a few prints - at least 5 - as a thank you celebration.
I love getting prints in the mail from people I follow, so I assume some of you will too.
How to Enter: 1) Message me or send ask through tumblr and let me know which print you would like. Just copy paste the 11-digit post number, or everything after "hiroda.tumblr.com/" on whichever photo you like. Or, if you want me to chose one for you that's cool too.
2) Let me know if you want several itty-bitty prints (up to 4 different 2"x3"ish prints), or a couple medium prints (up to two 5"x7"ish prints), or one large print (8"x10"ish).
3) You don't have to reblog, or like any of my posts to enter, just let know which print(s) you want.
The Rules are Simple and Few: 1) If you are asking for a specific photo, it has to be one of my photos (usually indicated by the "byHiroda" tag).
2) Entries will be accepted until Monday morning, July 14 at 9:00am Eastern time. If there are less than 5 requests by then, then the "drawing" will be open until the first five requests are in.
3) If you have questions, let me know. The Fine Print: 1) I will chose the winners fairly and at random.
2) I will announce publicly when the winners are chosen, but not who the winners are. (I will message the winners directly via whatever method they enter.)
3) Flattery won't increase your odds of winning. However, a ballsy haiku or an unusual (but TRUE) fact will get you bonus points, but still won't increase your odds of winning.

I am in the midst of dining alone, and I've made two new friends, had some fun conversation, and got the number of a sweet and interesting lady.
