The other day I dreamt that one of my closes friends was dying of cancer and we were doing bucket list kind of things with her, and then I was meeting with her family, and she was already in the hospital and we were just basically waiting for her to die.

Then last night I dreamt that I was some food delivery person, and after a delivery, as I was getting into my car, three guys attacked me and tried to pull me out of the car by my legs to rape me.

Can I have some normal, fluffy dreams, please?

I'll be giving a lecture on female superheroes on Thursday - to high school students. And since I'm used to speaking to college students, I'm a bit apprehensive that 1, I'll use terms that are unfamiliar to them 2, I'll get into inappropiate stuff (I mean, you can get into details about the scandal surrounding Batman's penis, but you can't really do the same with high schoolers)

42. Do you buy hardcover book copies for previously purchased paperbacks and library books you enjoyed reading? If I really enjoyed it, I might purchase a copy of something I borrowed from the library, but I wouldn't buy a hardcover if I already have the paperback. However, I have some books which I own both in English and Hungarian, for example the All Souls books - however, there I first had the Hungarian edition of A Discovery of Witches, and in hardcover (it was only published in hardcover here), and then I bought the English paperback.

43. Title of a book you own that's in the worst physical condition you have. Explain what happened to it. Post a picture if you want. That would be either The Female Gaze - Women as Viewers of Popular Culture (which is an essay collection published in 1989; I bought it second-hand, and it's literally falling apart), or the Hungarian edition of the first volume of the Monstress comic (which i used to prop up my laptop for an embarassingly long time, and it shows).
