best remake | tomb raider! logically, i'm aware that the original probably didn't need, or warrant, a makeover. HOWEVER, i've neverrrrr been an angelina fan, my affinity for alicia vikander is long-standing and well-documented, and sometimes mindless mayhem is a viewing mood!

Oooh, what did you think about Romancing Mr. Bridgerton? It's my favorite book of the whole series but to be fair, I read it as a 14 year old and imprinted on it like a baby duck so I can't be impartial or unbiased about it AT ALL two decades later. I have been looking forward to Pen and Colin's season since they first announced they were doing this whole series as a show. And the fact that Nicola is cast as Penelope was just the icing on the cake for me. ❤️

i enjoyed so very much! all the spinster discussion, the meeting/dancing on the corner, colin being basically 'can we be forever?' after they kiss but then talking himself backward, you can be the you you were meant to be only when you're seen, i too was that young woman, THEY WERE MARRIED FOR SO MUCH MORE OF THE NARRATIVE THAN I EXPECTED, the blackmail!

in short, i couldn't be more excited to have this saga play out before my eyes!
