We joke all the time that our kitty is a temple cat - she’s incredibly respectful, almost reverent towards the altar space. Before it had gotten quite so cluttered, she’d actually managed to carefully curl herself up on Boyfriend’s shelf without disturbing a single thing - and she’s not a tiny cat. 

Bonus fact - when my wife was weaving a godseye to anchor the protective wards on the house, kitty kept playing with the loose ends of the thread… she actually helped untangle the pile as my wife weaved. So she was physically helping her with the weaving, and adding all her bitey, claw-y energy to the finished working.

I love cats. :-)
