New things! A few people have requested we do some other things to help us through the HeAteUs so here you go, I present to you...
Saturdays are Cards Against Humanity night.
- From roughly 2pm EST / 7pm BST / whenever we get the link up.
- Haven’t played before? Doesn’t matter.
- You can read the wiki article on the game here
- But you’ll pick it up easily enough anyway!
As before are for rewatches/chat.
- Starting at 3pm EST / 8pm BST (work out your time here)
- Livechatting from 2pm EST / 7pm BST / whenever people want to show up!
(Reminder that the chat is members only)
- Message the network blog or one of the admins for the link/password
We’re trying out a round robin fic challenge.
- Via googledocs (so we will require your email address)
- You submit 100 - 500 words when your turn comes around
- You have 48 hours to upload your part (if you’re busy you have the option to opt out of this round and carry on with the next one)
- If you don’t submit something in 48 hours you’ll be skipped, if you’re skipped 3 times without warning us that you’re opting out you’ll be banned (from the game, not the network!)
- You can take the story anywhere you want.
- You cannot retcon somebody else’s contribution (unless discussed).
- If you have a major problem with any plot points please message an admin.
- Message catsandpsychopaths to get involved or if you have any questions/need to opt out of one week
A post will go up at some point on Saturdays (starting this Saturday) to link you to the Cards Against Humanity game. Like it says, if you've never played before it's easy to pick up!
You can sign up for the Round Robin challenge NOW. I'm not 100% when we'll kick this off (soon, though - assuming enough people are interested!) but sign ups will always be open so that people can hop in any time they want.
A compilation of the round robin fic will be posted to the blog each week so that people who aren't involved in the writing can at least enjoy whatever madness is created.
