i was just looking at the ishizu tag and found this, possibly my own greatest masterpiece?

@official-stefano-valentini you need some juice?

So like, in the Kay book Erik explicitly goes after Christine because she looks like his mother. In leroux’s novel she is described as being as pure as a 15 year old.

The entire franchise— no matter what medium you prefer— is about a man manipulating, stalking, abusing, and seducing a woman and symbolically stealing her innocence. It’s not favorable to anti sentiments.

Even then, antis HATE agegaps, even if one of the characters is an adult, if the agegap is quite large

Christine is always around her late teens/very early twenties, except in the bad sequels*, and the Phantom is AT BEST in his late thirties/early fourties [Phantom of the Paradise and the ALW musical] but he’s usually in his fifties or even approaching his sixties

literally nothing about the POTOMMU [Phantom Of The Opera MultiMedia Universe] is safe from problematic content, are they in for the music from the ALW musical? the musical written by a guy who was in his late 30s for his 20something wife? shouldn’t the REAL LIFE agegap alone exclude POTO from their scope of interest?

*talking about the bad sequels, the idea antis want to stay in a fandom where Beauty Underneath exists, a song choke-full of stuff that sounds too much like innuendos for a sexual awakening but it’s sang by the Phantom and his ten-year-old son is... incredibly funny and just shows how their ‘’normal people morals’’ mean nothing even to them

thinking about how for the palpatine clone figure, hasbro obviously couldnt make him nude under his cloak like he was in the comic so instead they gave him a bunch of straps that had the unintended effect of making him look way more horny

Image

Just awful. no one needed to see this.

where is the comic palpatine gets nude in

im so glad i finally have a reason to showcase this truly horrifying art

ladies this post singlehandedly brought palpatine back from the dead and he WILL sport this look in STAR WARS Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
