PSA: Broken tags

❖ Hi! Friendly reminder that if your tag ‘breaks’, it’s actually just someone using your tag after the 5th tag. So for example, say these are tags on a picture:

The notification for the #sky tag will pop up, but it will not show if you go to the tracked tag. This is because it’s the 6th tag. It’s the same reason people usually do starter sets in 5s rather than more, because you can only tag five people properly.

The way to see what was recently posted in it, is to search that tag instead. You do this by typing your tag into the search bar, rather than clicking the tracked tag. Then, you organize it by Most Recent rather than Most Popular. It’ll show you what was posted with that tag, but refused to show in your tag (aka: your tag ‘breaking’).

You can use this to your advantage. If you want to post something with a ‘nsfw’ tag, but don’t want porn blogs to follow/like your post, just make sure you use buffer tags, such as random letters, or other tags. I have a bunch of tags such as ‘{ drabble }’ and then ship names, before I put ‘nsfw’ for this reason.

Yeah, I can’t resist to reblog just to remind everybody that Thor fell for Jane Foster in the first place because she was so damn clever, and curious, and passionate about her work, and obstinate, and he was impressed and amazed and so touched to see the humans more resourceful than he thought and hey, here is another bit of Thor’s personality, he’s just so happy to have been proven wrong now that it allows him to see the best in people—

I just fail to understand why so many would dislike Jane Foster, and even more erase her character from their works; she is absolutely marvellous, both unbelievable and terribly realistic, adorable and awkward, driven but sweet, kind but relentless, and so fucking gifted. And there are people wondering why Thor is interested in her?! Argh!

Also this scene is quite wonderful: you have two people who had a crush on each other last time they met, but who have been unable to see each other since, and the current events are hardly allowing them to get to know each other better—and they kinda find themselves in the same situation they were last time, and you see how they reconnect and it’s just perfect. Perfectly untimely and a little bit tragic, too.

This is one of my favorite sides of his character development.

In the beginning, even the littlest things she did, he had to criticize. You’re bringing me food and didn’t let me starve? Well you threw it at my face so I can’t forgive you. You tried to save my life? You almost set me on fire while doing it so I’m just going to ignore that.

And then…

She touches his head after a 200 foot drop a;nd he yells. Because it hurts. No, it doesn’t matter that I hit my skull exactly in the place that you just touched it. I’m just going to pretend it doesn’t hurt and make sure that you are okay. You’re running me into a pole? Well I’m with you so nothing else matters.

I just love how he grows to love her and her quirks, which is what you do when you start to fall in love with someone.

This is the reason, that even though the story was short, their relationship felt so real. They had to learn how to get used to one another before falling in love. 

it actually felt rushed to me. it felt sudden because it didn’t seem like they actually started liking each other romantically until after elsa threw them out and it just came out of the blue. tell me they fell in love and i’ll say it’s a load of crap. tell me they like each other aand yeah okay i’ll give you that. but no way do i believe they are in love. their relationship is more like a start of a blooming romance, ya feel?

and that’s why they kissed at the end instead of getting married.  It’s just the beginning, not a full blown love story.  They’re friends with feelings, not lovers who are friends.  That’s what makes it realistic and a nice change from most of the time when the characters that had just met get married.  It’s literally the beginning of the relationship, which is why it wasn’t Kristoff’s kiss that saved Anna, but her own love.

legit, legit.  Like all people they gotta learn how to deal with being within each other’s space before they start to develop romantic feelings.
