🎬{ Once Upon A Night } at Houston Heights. New video coming up very soon! Starring - Grace @gracemcfaddinyoung (left) & Abby @abi.wi ( on the right) Video footage was filmed back in year 2017 when we were about to wrap up our photoshoot and call it a day. So we decided to film some impromptu videos while heading back to our cars. These footage had been sitting in the archives. Somehow one day when i was going through some online music library, a soundtrack inspired me on how i could give our (seem amateur) footage an exciting (re)vision. He and many others have been staying in the underground bunker for 2 months. We are the chefs 👩🏻‍🍳. Baking our dream golden shoes 👞 👞 👑 with Joanna @przedszept A shot that was quite under exposed but i decided to work my magic, giving it a clearer visibility for storytelling . A photo from 120mm film shot with Yashica Mat-124g, a medium format TLR style camera which i borrowed from Joanna for my first ever 6x6 medium format camera hands on experience. ( yes. She’s a model and also a film photographer. ) Honestly i had been torn ( for years) in between a 645 or a 6x6 (6x7) to invest for my next film camera. Somehow that step has been kept indoors. And i will probably still keep shooting 35mm when my next favorite subject shows up. Therefore. It’s very likely my second 120film roll will wait until next time i get to meet up with Joanna again. Floral subjects and a blurry bridge. 🌸 🌉 Long time no still shot created with an actual shutter click action. And this is from last evening. Been video filming with this camera and i almost forgot it is a photo camera as well beside its strong video capability well known in the industry. Never an enthusiast for flowers being main subjects. (Still isnt!) However, since i stepped into filming (especially filming with anamorphic adapter lens setup), flowers have become my easy accessible “muses” for either checking the focusing, the sharpness, the colors, the motion cadence...etc. Even though, i have no knowledge about their specises, im beyond thankful for their existence.
