PSA: tagging things as ‘nsfr’ or ‘not safe for ramadan’ is unnecessary and insulting. yes, ramadan is starting hella soon, and yes, practicing muslims are expected to fast–– but to suggest that we need a special tag so as not to be tempted off our fast??? n o?? seeing or being around food, water, or nsfw media does not break our fast. our period of fasting relies on our own self restraint, and the abstention from indulging in our desires. tagging things as ‘nsfr’ suggests that practicing muslims on tumblr are unable to follow their own religion or hold themselves back at the mere sight of food, water, nsfw media, etc. most of us will be in the presence of food and water in real life, anyway!
using the nsfr tag is basically telling any and all of your muslim followers “you can’t control yourself.”
ugh im an awful person. This guy kissed me and tried to put his hands down my pants and I stopped his hands but kinda fell weak when he started kissing my neck tbh. But i kinda told him about that and he said it was okay, we’d be okay and I was thrilled.

The best advice I have ever gotten from a magazine was in Jane (RIP): if you have to go to work hungover, wear a dress. People will think you look fancier than normal and won’t notice how wrecked you look. Plus it’s much easier to do than trying to match an outfit.
