My favorite place on earth

It'd have to be the Kinabatangan region. I took my colleagues there last week to plant trees in the "Banana Garden" @ Bilit village. the local organization we worked with is  Habitat Enterprise, set up by a few of the local "river people" with a mission to restore the fragmented and depleted forest along the river. WWF trained and supported this group, an effort contributing to the bigger project - Kinabatangan Corridor of Life.
