Hello! I’m Sim, and I’ll be Running this Zine Studio!

A little about me: My name is Sim, I’m 23 and I’ve been writing “x reader” fanfics for about 6 years! You might recognize me from my writing blogs @superhero--imagines , @harrypotter-imaginess , @voltagedrabbles-archive , @sunflowerletters , or my bat boy zine @bat-boys-zine

Since I started writing, I’ve fluctuated from writing “x reader” formatted works, and original fiction short stories and poems, and what I’ve noticed is that there is not any studio that consistently provides “x reader” style zines. I know there are many talented, ambitious people writers and artists in this community that would love to be apart of a zine, but might not be able to due to lack of a robust portfolio, lack of traditional sample pieces, or lack of experience working in zines. We believe in paying artists for their work, so all contributors will receive payment if accepted for their final contributions. Payment is contingent upon success of the zine, with all profits equally distributed amongst contributors, mods and organizers.

We hope that with this studio, we are able to provide a lasting, seasonally produced zine, that you can be proud to contribute towards, or see on your shelf.

We will be posting our first interest check soon, until then feel free to ask any questions, or message with any concerns you might have!

I 100% know I’m going to be re-reading this one for a while, it really gave me first love diary vibes with extra comedic effect- have any of y’all played it?

Wow, the legendary blog has been resurrected from the grave! But no, I’ve never played this before, is it new?

I think they started rolling it out a year ago- fair warning, it’s like stupid expensive (it looks like voltage has been doing more stories with “parts” released every week)

Worth it though, and it probably wouldn’t have stung so bad if I had bought it each time a story was released lolll

So I uh, I opened an Etsy shop!! Out of impulsiveness after I visited my friends boutique lol, as you can see it’s a lot more expensive to order from Etsy (because of selling fees) but if you’ve been waiting for a safer way to order this is it!

So I’ve seen a few people are doing this, and I thought it would be kind of fun! Also I need to save money for a new phone/my education/ books

So a little about me, other than this blog I also do a ton of pen paling as a hobby. So this will be a kind of like commissions and I can do different things based on the amount of effort I put into your letters. All characters will have different handwriting based on what I think it would be like - I can also do a typed letter if you like. (All letters will be on good quality paper and first 5 people will get extras for free)

i am so glad that i renblogged this however so long ago. i saw this post and shared it with others in mind, but now i am the one who really needs this. id like to think of this as good karma i guess

also a good list if anyone ever needs to run away from home for whatever reason.

Reblogging again because I’ve been living by a lot of these guidelines the last month. If you suddenly find yourself homeless, don’t give up. You have options.

Wet wipes especially are life savers - crotch rot isn’t pleasant.

Take care of your feet - if you can’t walk, you stand a very real chance of dying. That’s not an exaggeration, take care of your feet.

Keep them dry, and if you can manage it try to change your socks daily - I had three pairs I would wash - more or less - and hang to dry so that I always had a dry pair to replace the ones I had on if they got wet.

Even a cheap plastic water bottle is a water bottle, fill it from public fountains and stay hydrated. If you can carry two and have room, keep one in your bag.

Your bag is your life. Do not put it down. I used to sleep with it on my front, it helped a little in terms of staying warm.

Newspapers torn up and stuffed into your jacket can help you stay warm. Layers are your best defense, you don’t want to sweat because that will compromise your ability to stay warm and dry. If you get overheated you can peel off a layer and put it in your bag.

DONT overburden yourself. A heavy bag full of stuff might make you feel more prepared but it will also wear you out, trying to haul everything around. Pack smart, pack light.

Ziplock bags get thrown out all the time, grab them. You can pack anything you don’t want to get wet in them, and you can also suck the air out of them and seal them so they take up less space.

Learn to build shelter; this is a skill I personally think everyone should learn Just In Case, because dumpsters are great but they’re also dumpsters. You don’t want to sleep behind one unless you really, really have to.

Protein is great but if you can manage it, remember to eat FRUIT. Something with vitamin C at least; my teeth started getting loose in their sockets because I wasn’t getting enough vitamin C. Scurvy can kill you.

srsly about the Wet Wipes

I met somebody in Harvard Square. I didn’t wanna give him money but I bought him wet wipes, a new reusable bottle, and a sammich.

The guy took Wet Wipes like manna from heaven

Wet wipes are fucking GOLD, I got into the habit of keeping a pack in the trunk of my car even after I got off the street. And towels.

I can’t stress enough about staying dry, especially in the colder months.
