first image is the original, which I drew over a year and a half ago, in a completely different art program, and is in fact the last thing I drew before moving on to sai. and of course the next image is the new one, drawn at the same resolution as my 200 follower thank you post, which is double my old canvas size!

Wow, 200 followers, and still growing, I'm actually really surprised! back when I first made this blog just over 2 years ago I'd of never imagined anything near this amount of people would be interested in the crude art I post.
But here we are.

magic-rarity-Another more recent friend and masterful artist whom I've enjoyed talking to over the past couple of months.
motherlyscootaloo-an old friend, maybe not friend anymore. I feel out of contact with the mod awhile ago, but still they are someone who helped inspire me.
Mason-also known as Broken Pen. a very dear friend to me, who has pushed me to not only continue this blog, but better myself as an artist and a person.
post-crusade-Run by cactus, another good friend, whom I can pretty much completely thank for my current group of friends.

youobviouslyloveoctavia-Owner of the enigmatic Scramjet, whom will likely be tinkered with by sweetie after her birthday is over. Scram is another close friend of mine, an invaluable one at that. with the amount he has pushed and encouraged me, I'm almost certain he actually is a robot, he has so many friends, and from what I can tell, he encourages them just as much. He really is the pony that every pony should know.

I'd also like to extend a huge thank you to the entirety of the sweetiebellesbandb, whome have been a great source of collaboration and discussion.
Finally, there's one last person I'd like to thank.
The owl plushy there on the bench is based off of one of rainbirdart's characters, muchi, a character that definitely most represents the mod. I could have drawn her pony Rainbird here, I have drawn her before, but I wanted to do something more personable, because without a doubt in my mind, she is my best friend, and one of the most supportive people I could have hoped to have in my life. she is one of the biggest influences in how unique So Sweetie Belle is today, and also on how she acts. it has been her small nods and discussions that have driven me to improve the character and myself and my art. I think to this do one of the best compliments on the blog I have ever gotten was hers "I don't really like canon sweetie belle, but I like yours".

This is something I don’t really feel like I’m qualified to do, but honestly my hand has been somewhat forced.
I’m opening pay what you want commissions (minimum $1).
so what’s up?
Long story short, at my dads work they have almost halved his hours, bringing him down from a comfortable mortgage paying wage to somewhere where he needs to consider getting a second job. This means slightly less money in the household as well as increased all around stress.
I currently work part-time between 14-30 hours a week, and my dad has asked me to increase the rent I pay, I will stress he’s not forcing me to, or threatening to kick me out, he’s just asking for a little more, which I think he’s full well earned the right to do.
So why the commissions?
I want to help out more then pay more out of my own pocket in rent, I want to put skills I’ve learnt over the past two years to the test and earn some money on the side to help out.
Where is the money going?
Two things, the first is the majority of money I receive will be given to my father, for bills, mortgage, and generally taking a bit of the load off.’
secondly I will be using the money to take some pressure off myself so that I can hopefully afford a new tablet, as you know my current one is acting funny. That being said, I won’t be using money directly from commissions to buy a new tablet, I will be using my own pay, the commissions as I said will help take some of the pressure off.
Ok so what kind of commissions are you offering?
I’m mainly offering my drawing ‘talents’.
$1-$5 will get you a sketch.
$5-$10 will get you a lined and coloured image with simple background.
All payments of $10+ will receive a full shaded piece with simple background.
There is no additional cost for extra characters, but only up to three characters will be drawn per commission.
Coloured sketch are also available upon request.
I will also offer my writing ‘skills’ starting at $10 dollars for a full page story, fully edited.
If you want smut, I am not very good at drawing it, but am capable writing it, please feel free to discuss with me any details.
What do you draw?
Pony, human, pokemon, and I will even attempt anthro, I’m willing to try anything, but my best work is with pokemon and ponies.
Do you accept donations?
No, I don’t feel the situation I’m in is dire enough to accept outright free money. I want to work for my pay.
Ok, what’s the process then?
It’s simple, send an email to dark.domen@gmail.com with the title ‘Quill commission’ in the body of the email say how much you’re paying and what kind of drawing you want. Supply a reference to your OC and a short description of what you’d like for your image/story. Once you have done this, I will send a confirmation/follow up email back to you, either saying I’ve added you to my commission queue or to ask for clarification. Once I have finished your commission I will send you a sample, and then you can pay for the full piece once you’re satisfied and once I’ve confirmed the money has been sent I will email the final image/story and post it to tumblr.
Anything else?
I’m not a great artist, and I know I’m not entirely that popular and I don’t expect to get many takers for this, but still I want to thank you for even considering to help. I know there’s plenty more deserving people then me on tumblr, and it’s nice that you took the time to consider me.

So, now that april fools day is over, maybe some sad news.
I'm gonna have to say this blog is gonna be dead for maybe half a year, as it stands my tablet is acting weird, and my computer itself is churning into possibly its last year, as such I don't feel too attatched to finding a solution for my tablet.
what does this mean? simply put I'm not gonna be able to draw until I get a new computer. I mean, I can draw, it's just very awkward right now.
I might try a work around, like buying a cheap digital camera and drawing traditional sketchs, but for the most part I'm thinking of just leaving it be.
I'd love to write things for the blog, little tid bits and little known or shown facts about my sweetie belle, but I think it's better if I don't bog down the blog with that, it is a drawing blog after all.
it's been a good run for me, and hell I've had my fair share of hiatus' so we all know I'm not gonna be gone forever.

My eyes have been fine for awhile now, but letting the old pair of glasses go to waste seemed wrong. So I fixed them up to be a hud display. It's actually really interesting how they work, you see-
