Am i the only one who think that the opening song ‘X.U’ is yuu’s song to mika and the ending song ‘scapegoat’ is mika’s song to yuu? (though i know some people say that the op is basically mika and you talking to each other, but my take is kinda different i guess). I mean, look at the lyrics.

in X.U, there are these:

I’m always ready to fight / Don’t take all of the weight. You always do / They’ll change you somehow / The fallen angels you run with don’t know

in scapegoat, there are these:

i need your blood / i’ll be a scapegoat if i can / A way for me to make it back / the fallen angels i run with all know

considering yuu’s rash personality and mika who always carry the burden alone, yuu who want to change mika back to human, and if fallen angels is their way of saying vampire.

It is also interesting to note that in the op it says ‘the fallen angels you run with don’t know, it is our pain that makes us all human after all’ and the ed says ‘the fallen angels i run with all know, it’s our fear that makes us human after all’.

If other people have pointed it out already, i’m sorry. 

Or maybe i’m just overthinking this.
