i never learn anything in this hindi class i'm taking lmao but it's still been worth it bc i've finally had to hunker down and learn how to read...proudly semi-literate like maybe at the level of a 5-year-old who's not particularly academically gifted

one of my favorite memes is my mom talking shit about my dad and brother in the family whatsapp group by accident omggg she never learns to check the chat name

flying through recursion by blake crouch currently. i read and didn't care too much for dark matter but heard this was better and i def connected more to the story but why does this man love to start throwing random extra shit into his books at the 11th hour omg now there's all this random physics jargon out of nowhere? sir just let the original concept breathe PLEASE i am begging you. with that said i will definitely be watching the shonda rimes netflix adaptation when it comes out

in the grand scheme of things though idt sci-fi is for me because i prefer more personal stories so as soon as they start going into the big picture implications of the technology i'm like zzzzz

selling sunset season 4 was cringier than usual omg...like which is sadder, christine being delusional and having extremely low self esteem OR 5-8 fully grown adult women tying themselves into knots over it. for me personally it's the latter

who are THE booktubers? my tastes are similar to emily fox's but i don't like watching her omg every time i do i'm like this b*tch is soooooo salty

literally omg i saw the trailer and was like isn't she one of those "i'm italian" italian-americans? wtf is this accent? it's camp though

agatha christie isn't for me omg i got 45% of the way through the murder of roger ackroyd and couldn't be bothered anymore so i looked up the "amazing plot twist" and it was literally exactly what i expected omg i can see how it would be shocking in 1926 but all the people reading it today who are like :O? so naive. now reading and generally enjoying malibu rising but it is so repetitive...after the dad's 4th or 5th affair it was like omfg we get it

i've read 10 mysteries/thrillers this year omg i'm so glad i stopped lying to myself that i wanted to read any other genre. best one by far was verity by colleen hoover. worst was either night film by marisha pessl or the test by sylvain neuvel but at least the latter was a novella whereas night film was 700 pages of shite. next up diving into some agatha christie

we are going omg i'm so excited. after my parents leave nitin and i will have 5 nights to ourselves including nye and want to get out of the city, does anyone have any suggestions. don't say como bc it's too far and i've been there for nye before. thinking either tuscany or the ricciardi family heritage trail jamboree down to naples/benevento
