I am all about Bucky thinking that Captain America is a goddamn joke

and that it’s an even funnier joke when he finds out Cap is Steve

Because he knows Steve SO WELL he knows ALL THE WAYS he at once fits the persona perfectly and all the ways he doesn’t fit it at all. Steve is the perfect man for the job and he’s the WORST man for the job and whenever they’re winding down Bucky just glances at Steve and starts cracking up into his drink

Steve loses count of how many times he asks ‘what’ and Bucky’s reply is ‘Captain America’ in the most strained, amused voice ever

I am all about people making assumptions about Steve’s character based on the Cap persona and Bucky just SNORTS SO LOUD
