Some crappy 8-bit animation fan art of the last 3 amazing games I played because i obviously need the practice! After being a Nintendo purest for so long it’s amazing how much of a 180 i’ve done and embraced the indies on the switch. They’re basically all i’ve played on it! These three in particular have everything going for them, gameplay, art, atmosphere and oh golly THE SOUNDTRACKS. Check them out if you get the chance, you wont be sorry! Chikorita community day! :D I haven’t really played Pokemon Go for longer than a few minutes since my initial addiction when it came out in 2016 (mainly due to downgrading my phone and it not being able to run it) but last night my buddy gave me the heads up that my all time favourite pokemon was having a community day, so today I grabbed my ipad and caught Chikorita’s until i ran out of every kind of pokeball. The shining gem being the shiny I caught with 1 great ball to spare! Since I’d already lost all study momentum I thought i might as well make some Chikorita pixel fanart to commemorate the day too :3

Some very good indies. :) Edit: 500 notes! Wow, thanks everybody. I loved making this piece because each character is so unique. The world of indie games is so full of life. Keep creating. :D Edit: 1,000 notes! Thanks again, all. c:

Baby’s first Pixel Art... Thought I’d have a crack at following up my long love for creating chiptunes and 8-bit music with an attempt at doing some super basic pixel art animations for self promo and the like. So i grabbed Aseprite on sale from Humble Bundle and got to doodling and oh my god this is all just SO. MUCH. FUN.

I’ve never been much for a visual artist, but i've always adored the pixel art aesthetic so I wanted to try and make the equivalent of intentionally *ahem* “lo-fi” (low skill level) stick figure art with a pixel twist and try to use my limitations to my advantage I think I’ve found my new favourite thing :D
