"Where did you hear that?" the Doctor asked. He thought she had to have heard it from elsewhere, since she was usually much better at flirting than that.
"You don't know?" Felicia leaned in close to feel his forehead. "You must not be feeling well then. We should make sure you're taken care of. I think I know someone would be happy to volunteer."

One slightly fouled up mission and she was stuck on desk duty. Paperwork galore took up her days. Paperwork and requests... and idle chit-chat. She hated it. She didn't mind it on occasion, but this was far too much.
At the end of her punishment, she knew she needed some time away from anything like that. The best person for that sort of distraction was a certain blonde. She pulled out her phone and smirked as she dialed the number, letting it ring.
Once it connected, she simply said, "It's been a while. What are your plans tonight because I could use some trouble."
One of the nice things about being independent was that Felicia didn't have to worry about paperwork. She could get into whatever trouble she felt like and deal with the consequences when they came.
The day was just late enough to wonder what she could get up to when her phone rang. It only took looking at the name before she quickly picked up. "Nat! Always good to hear from you.
"My plans are clear. I can't think of a better way to spend time. What kind of trouble are we talking?"
Hearing the voice on the other end, she smiled. The blonde was always someone who could lighten the day with how she was. Always willing to be into something or another, it was something she envied a little.
"Not something that could get me back on desk duty, but nothing super tame where we're bored," she offered as some constraints. "So... got any ideas on anything within those confines?"
"Very specific criteria." Her voice trailed off in thought. It was understandable why Natasha would want to keep the risks low. Desk jobs sounded very boring. Felicia couldn't let her friend go through that.
It didn't take long for something to come to mind. "I know of a party being hosted by a leading in the criminal underworld. Identities are going to be secret anyway. So we can go in and see what we can take out with us."
"Then let's go and have some fun," she replied with a smile. "I couldn't think of anyone better to hang out with."
Natasha knew Felicia would be a blast to hang out with. She wanted something to free herself from the boring work week and Felicia was the best person to do it. She had so many connections and so many leads on jobs. Anything she had would surely be fun.
"You tell me the information and I'll get things ready."
Her friend sounded like she was feeling better with the idea. Felicia felt good already. "You got it. I'll meet you at the place."
She sent the information over to Natasha. It would end up being a bit of a fancy masquerade. They both were going to look amazing. The thief couldn't wait for them to take what they liked from under the noses at the party.
But it's kind of unfair to everyone around me when I seem to be skipping through the multiverse with very little rhyme or reason, and I'm not sure how long I'm staying anywhere. I'm not even sure what causes me to reset and end up somewhere else.
Not to mention the whole.. being dead problem.
It would seem no version of me is good at staying alive. And if the local me is alive, well. That's another problem, because fuck knows I would have shot my body double on sight without thought once.k
No point in complaining, I guess. No one to complain to. It's a senseless universe.
A bed for the night, food, figure out where I am and who the key players are.

"Hey, you ok?" Felicia could tell he wasn't. She knew she could just mind her own business, but something wouldn't let her walk by.
"Do you need a hand?" A thief could only do so much legally. That didn't mean she couldn't do anything. She just hoped this wouldn't be something that would get in trouble.
“How about I make you something to eat, and you can tell me about it?”
"Not much to tell." Felicia took a seat, getting in a position where she could watch him. "What are you going to make?"

"Another person out late dressed in black. Pleasant surprise. You don't have it in your name too, do you?"
Noir tilts his head, taking a moment to determine if the woman is a threat. Satisfied she isn't, for the moment, he actually chuckles. Of course it's rough and pretty quiet, but it's audible.
The thief tilted her head back. She was used to a level of banter, and it was strange to not get any. The guy didn't seem to be a threat to her at least. The chuckle seemed to hint at a decent personality at least. "Are you up here for something in particular or just enjoying the view?" The sight was always lovely this far up.
Noir stays mostly motionless, seeming to just stare at the woman with a blank gaze. But more than anything he's a little surprised to have run into someone this late. Usually he'd be up to something, some task Homelander or PR gave him, but not tonight. He holds up a hand, keeping two fingers up to give her his answer of the latter.
"Not a talker, got it." Felicia could respect that. The city had enough noise, and she could talk enough for the both of them. "Nice to see someone else appreciate the view. At least not up here." She took a seat on the ledge. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of my city."

"You want my help to pull a prank on your friend?" the Doctor asked, "Which of your friends is this?"
"Peter. I have a feeling he'd appreciate the fun." Felicia grinned, "especially if we do something scifi to it."
"We can probably do that," he told her, "Do you have a specific idea?"
"I was thinking of getting a rock that glows a fight color. Just put it in his room and turn it pink. I have a feeling he'd enjoy the science of it once the prank was over."
"We could probably do that," he told her, "I know a few places where we can get rocks that glow different colors, but I don't know any where you can control the color."
Felicia nodded, "I doubt he'd mind if he couldn't control the color. I'm sure we can find a rock that will work at any of the places you bring us to."
"I meant that we wouldn't be able to control the color either," he told her, "If that's okay, I can take us somewhere, yes."
"That sounds perfect," she grinned with excitement. "Is the TARDIS close by?"

I don't know how he is able to blush everything single time I surprise him. Surprising him with a visit never gets old.
Felicia shrugged, "people have done stranger." She had the scars to prove it too. While some she had earned from her own actions, others had come after getting on the wrong side of the wrong people.
"It's not something I put out there that often." Felicia could count the number of people who knew of her fingers. "I wouldn't mind a cup if the offer's still available. Although coffee if my usual drink."
Marcus eyes her and then inclined his head in the imitation of a nod. “Yes, people certainly have done stranger things in the world.” He disappeared back into the room behind the counter and the door shut with a click.
Ben watched him curiosity before turning back into a human form so he could grab a book from a shelf a few rows away. “Are you certain you were born with this ability and it wasn’t something that someone cast upon you when you were too young to remember?” He asked as he flipped through the pages, offering her a small smile as he did his best not to allow his curiosity to run away with him.
Felicia watched Marcus to the back. He seemed to understand what she meant, but there was something in it that felt slightly off. She couldn't tell what it was though.
Her focus turned back to Ben. She moved close to him, trying to see what he was looking at. "I suppose I have always just assumed it was something I was born with. Some of my earliest memories are playing with my dad- both as cats and humans." He had always tried to keep his criminal life separate from his family. Was it possible for he got in contact during a job and it affected them both? "What are you thinking?"
