"I saw senior Mytho today! He had a smile on his face."
I doubt you'll believe me, but
I truly wanted to be a good friend to you.
I had this grand old idea back in May to post a page of action gestures a day to my Instagram. I stopped posting them because my phone camera shortly kicked the bucket, but now that I have access to an iPod cam, this is a reminder for me to jumpstart this desired ritual again.
Soon! O(≧▽≦)O This image was drawn for a shiny bookmark. Excited to see it in print!
Here's some older illustrations of the Blue Carmen and the Red Violet that I did for Borupen Studios! :)
Some older timed MMA gestures
Some pretty rough sketches of these guys from a budding fighting game project called Air Dash Online!
Dropping this off here too! My first assignment for week one of Rad's class. Still unfinished. Last 30 seconds to board out from thumbnails, some scenes to redo, need to pose out more at a few parts, etc. I had an incredible amount of fun working on this. I'm still a newbie, but I'm excited to learn and try out so much more!
Illustrations for Borupen! Studio
This is probably a very prickly subject, but here we go. The prompt I received involved a specific depiction of Angie and Alice and the way they both approach geek culture. They are both "geek queens" in their own right, but their intentions with this label diverged very sharply due to different life experiences. Angie started out as a very different kind of person, and as the studio's projects progress, we will get to see those changes.
If you have any questions about these characters, please feel free to ask at https://www.facebook.com/borupen.studios !
There are times I regret not being more artistically inclined when I visited the Philippines. There were so many great sceneries I could have looked at to sketch and document. Looking at photos on google is great, but it's just not the same thing.
Last year, I got a prompt for a school assignment called "Pants on Fire". So I made a comic about pants on fire.
Unfinished Business
I did this short for a school assignment during the fall semester. It was inspired by the Twilight Zone episode "Ring-a-Ding Girl". I did this in a fairly short amount of time so, despite its flaws, I'm proud to have completed it.
My sister is not amused by DC's recent murder of Damian Wayne so she will express her distaste in song
